The Hog's Head

Blaine looked around and sighed. He drank his firewhiskey quickly and ordered two more.

He gulped his firewhiskey quickly. His body searing in pain. Aries' curse was terrible.

Getting up from her bar stool, Alexandra crossed over the room several times, ducking between patrons, she managed to chat quietly with several of the candidates and bought them a drink to sweeten the deal along with a few galleons as payment to encourage their pursuit in informing Alexandra of who Leo really was. Soon enough, she had two turn down her offer, one say she may look into things while another three agreed to contact their friends to look up Leo.

Relaxed now that her mission was over for the moment, she went back to the bar to drink in peace once more. A little closer to Blaine. It wouldn't hurt to try and get something out of him.

Adrian watched a girl walk all around several times. She wasn't doing very well to be inconspicuous by slipping money and drinks to everyone. She sat back at the bar and he watched her out of the corner of his eye.

Blaine looked around and caught sight of Adrian. He went over to him. "hey."

"That girl was just watching you. She's been slipping bribes to people the whole time."
He said quietly to Blaine.

Blaine looked over and rolled his eyes. "Some girl from the Order..."

He nodded.
"Well why is an order girl looking at a Death Eater like you? I'm assuming it's nothing good..."

After Blaine had left, she decided to just sit there and sip her whiskey in peace. Alexandra was by no means a light weight, but whiskey was potent and since her rocky years in Hogwarts, she had been touching alcohol less and less. Good for her state of mind at least. She nodded to herself without noticing it as she pondered over what little she knew of Leo and where she should start. There were records of immigration from America of course but they were in the Ministry and Alexandra didn't know if they were being kept hidden from public view or being shown on request.
Jolted out of her thoughts by someone mentioning the Order, she glanced over her shoulder at Blaine and raised an eyebrow. The lad next to him seemed rather suspicious of her and she guessed he thought she was trying to get dirt on Blaine. Reasonable conclusion if not for the pure idiocy of doing so when in the same room as boy-toy. Perhaps he wasn't used to the ways of the Hog's Head. It lived off of the exchange of beneficial information and cash. New to town, she hazarded a guess then turned back to her drink.

Blaine shrugged. "Eh, she knows Blaire. I don't know but she's quite annoying."

He nodded. Order. He'd remember her. He glanced around. Eh, he was bored and gulping fire whiskey. Why not have some fun? He approached the girl and sat raise her at the bar.
"Hey." he said giving his best flirtacious. He was hoping to get a name at the least.

Blaine sighed as Adrian walked away and he was alone. He sipped his firewhiskey and watched Adrian.

"If you want to hit on a girl, go to the Leaky Cauldron." she drew her hood over her face, feeling annoyed that the boy seemed to want her company despite their being on opposing sides. The shadow of her hood would psychologically put some distance between them while part of the dark material itself would mean that she didn't have to look at him. At the moment, she really didn't want to deal with him but if she had to, Alexandra would feel little to no remorse in hexing him out of her sight. She had better things to devote her time to than a Death Eater who wanted a bit of skirt for the night. Alexandra hadn't considered anyone since Earl and this lad was the last one on her mind.
His attempts to be flirtatious would probably be shunted aside rather coldly or ignored for the next few minutes. But if it got beyond that, Alexandra would be extremely irritated to say the least.

Blaine stared straight at Alexandra. He looked at her curiously.

He sighed.
"I didnt say I was hitting on you though." he pointed out.

"Good." short answers usually helped with getting people to leave along with hinting impatience to make them feel uncomfortable... Beginning to tap her fingers on the table, she continued to sip her fire whiskey to savor the taste rather than get drunk. It would take one more of the big mugs - such as the one she was drinking from - to give her a little buzz but it was better safe than sorry in her books.

He smiled again.
"I'm not looking for a skirt anyway. I wouldn't be here if I was. I'd rather have a brain. And you seem like you've got one. You're by no means an air head. You've got this figured out. The bribes, the sources, everything. Impressive. You know how to handle yourself. Intelligent conversation is hard to come by..." he said indicating Blaine. "I'm sure you know this after questioning half-drunks all night."

She remained silent. The people she had conversed with were very much not drunk. This was heavy-weight land after all where your drinking determined your strength in many ways. Perhaps the boy was simply not a very good observer or the people she had spoken to were pretending to be a bit drunk. Either way, they were fully conscious of what they had been saying.
"Done talking yet?" this was getting towards irritating now rather than a small nuisance. Whoever this was could keep up the flattery for as long as he wanted but she wasn't giving out any information.

"Not yet. I can keep a one sided conversation. Can I get a name to work with? First? Last? Middle? Anything?" he asked.

Letting him keep the one-sided conversation should be fine then. At the moment, she wanted to enjoy her drink then leave not the other way around. But she was only half-way down her mug. Glaring at it briefly, she returned to doing what she did very well. Ignoring the boy next to her. Even so, she was rather tempted to cast a muffliato spell on herself despite the consequences. His prattling went on forever.

Blaine listened to their conversation intently, trying to catch any mention of him or Blaire. He sipped his firewhiskey nonchalantly.

"No? Alright then...hmm...I'll have to come up with one. Something pretty...Sophie maybe...or...Belle. Yes I'll call you Belle." he smiled "So Belle which magic school did you attend?" he asked, not even slightly imaging that she'd answer.

Belle always had seemed like a rather boring name to her as well as a tad unoriginal considering how many fairy tales featured the name and what it meant. This Death Eater had no imagination. Hmm... She was down to a quarter of her whiskey. Fantastic, she would be able to escape soon. Her eyes turned to the bar tender who was a reliable man that wouldn't slip potions in people's drinks no matter how much they would pay and kept the bar orderly and clean enough. Alexandra wondered how much she could tip him without having his pride offended.

Blaine rolled his eyes, getting somewhat annoyed by Adrian as well. He flashed his blue eyes toward Alexandra again and sighed.
