The Hog's Head

"He's an interesting man, one that could bring colour to our monotonous life as Deatheaters" Lamia gave a small smile, holding in her child-like excitement, the same excitement that had been kindled ever since she had seen those three heads.

She failed to mention that his aura was unbelievably strong, to the point that he had managed to easily convince many of the regular deatheaters, of the inner circle, that he was suitable to be leader. She had also failed to mention that he was a stronger asset, than Luxante, to her climb to power.

Lamia kept those thoughts to herself, not willing to share it with a woman who she wouldn't even call an acquaintance.

"Stupid Girl!"

*She kicked her chair back as she stood to her feet, her wand out in moments. Death Eater or no, Lamia should know better than to voice those words out loud so carelessly around strangers, especially here in Hogsmeade. In an instance blue light started to immediately from her wand, like a bubble growing in size every second that passed consuming not only the general area but coveting the whole of Hogs Head. No one could now enter nor leave the premises unless she, the Headmistress gave the word.

Scanning the area a few look bewildered of what was happening, but she saw a few with there wands already out, even the bartender had his out ready to attack if need be. She was out numbered five to one. Lamia did not count because her stupidity got them into this mess.*

"Blundering like a baboon. Gosh. I should kill you right now with the rest of these idiots."

*She was tempted to give an offering equal to the amount of information Lamia gave, but now the offer was retracted, in light of the fact that she had to take down these trivial little nuisances.*

Lamia's stony expression faltered. Once again, her common sense had slipped whilst she swam in her thoughts of bloodlust.

She looked to the surrounding people, a look of irritation swiftly passed her features.

They were wasting her time, stopping her from receiving information about the Deatheaters' intriguing new leader, meaning that her accepting Aries' letter would've been pointless. Meeting Aries was one of Lamia's most dislikable things.

"But then who would you have to harvest for information from, i'm sure the newly weds won't step within a mile or your reeking presence and Luxante would've has put himself into hiding whilst concocting up a new plan for power" she said softly behind Aries' back so only she was within range to hear.

Lamia's eyes hardened. In seconds, her wand appeared in her right hand, it's newly sharpened silver based edged glinted in the sunlight.

"Leave us." she said softly yet there was a slight hint of menace.

The people made no move to flee or ignore the situation, even after the Headmistress' display of a complex spell.

They were moronic imbeciles.

*Aries flicked her wand making all the tables in the bar rise up causing more commotion, also shielding Lamia and her from view. She did not need her dress to get bloody so she decided to make this easy on all who are involve and not kill 10+ patrons who just wanted a daily douse of firewhiskey.*

"Leave us?"

*She mimicked in an idiotic voice that sounded a lot like Lamia.*

"What are you thinking? Letting them walk free with information about us?"

*She was talking more about herself than anything else. Aries name has been cleared for almost eight years now, and she was not going to let a spoiled self proclaim death eater ruin her anonymity. The table that was right in front of them took multiple spells but it stood firm and strong until a blasting charm tore it asunder. What were left was wood chips and few larger pieces of the legs. Two tables took its place, and a third started spinning as Aries made a circular motion with her wand.*

Lamia was on the verge of just leaving the old hag to fend for herself. She clearly knew that Aries would probably survive but it would mean wasted energy for the headmistress' part, meaning she would sooner or later result in a pissed off headmistress and no information.

"Unlike some people, some of us are easily forgotten" the revealing of identity didn't greatly affect Lamia, with her plentiful storage of Polyjuice, it left her feeling unthreatened.

Lamia sighed inwardly to herself and casually rolled herself off from the chair, wand still in hand.

The impact of the air from the explosion of the table left her unfazed until a small wood chip tore past her right cheek.
It was an easily healable spell, but Lamia was a vain woman. With her wand she wiped the small droplet of crimson clean off her cheek, healing the cut along the way.

She looked darkly towards the Headmistress who seemed to be dragging the fight on, mostly focusing upon replacing their barricade than tearing the assaulters to shreds. She was as impatient as she hated interruptions.

With a flick of her wand, the tiny woodchips tore through the air, towards the people on the other side of the table. Some were clever enough to have moved since when she had last saw them in the brief moments when the table had blasted apart, but others were stupid enough to remain where they stood even after the new barricade had been put up, resulting in many of them spewing blood as the wooden projectiles wriggled into their vital organs before combusting into yet smaller and sharper shards.

The brief conversations with Samael had proved useful in knowing where the body was more delicate and easily punctured. However Lamia didn't stop to celebrate as she grasped hold of one of the wooden legs on the floor that remained from the previous table.

*Aries did not get where she was, as headmistress of Durmstrang by playing it safe. But unlike Lamia, she did not see the sense of unnecessary killings either. Instead of letting Lamia tear the patrons of the bar to shreeds, she used the barricade that she already had form as a shield. Most glanced off the table, dropping to the floor on impact, but she could not protect them all. Those who were not protected, fell to the ground without a scream, not even a moan, because Lamia cut the jugular vain.*

"I'll finish this once and for all."

*She hissed. Moving her wand not towards the cowering victims of the Death Eaters assult, but straight up in the air. The tables dropped to the ground, not being held up by magic anymore, leaving the two defenseless and open for an attack.*

"Ventus. Pone dormientes sopiantur, et sinite evigilabit oblitus somnia."

winds. Put sleeping slumber, and let awake forgotten dreams.

*A few brave souls leap up knowing for a time Lamia, and Aries were open, sent a dozen spells at once, leaving Lamia to fend off the bombardments herself. But once her enchantment was compleated an acid green fog sputter out of the tip of her wand. In moments consuming this small hut of a bar. One by one they dropped like flies, dead asleep.*

The wooden leg she held in her hand was soon implanted into one man's throat, right below his Adam's apple. He attempted to swallow the rising blood but it was futile as crimson droplets trailed down his now paling chin.

Her attention focused for a brief second on the Latin that flowed smoothly from Aries' mouth. Spells narrowly missed her cheek as she immediately conjured up a quick Protego. Such a simple spell but none of those men had the spine to cast an Unforgivable.

Lamia's brow deepened slightly in disapproval or disappointment as she saw each one drop down in order to close their pretty little eyes. But she had to reluctantly admit, Aries knew many spells and incantations above the usual norm you have of a witch.

She glanced towards the man of which she had 'staked' questioning whether he was dead. losing consciousness or succumbed to Aries' spell.

"Hopefully they'll be drowning in their nightmares" Lamia muttered, eyeing the countless sleeping bodies.

*Once the room was consume in acid green smoke, and her incantation took effect, she stop her chant, and lowered her wand. Aries only saw silhouettes slumping over, falling where they stood to the ground. As the smoke cleared, Aries had a chance to expect the scene. Shattered glass laid everywhere littering the floor, with wood chips and pieces of what used to be chairs mixed in. Everyone except Aries and Lamia were passed out, or on the throws of death.

The one, who had still a chair leg still protruding out of his neck, made grotesque gurgling sounds, as he struggle to take a breath, and another, and another. Aries knew he was good as dead.*

"This could be used in our favor."

*She was most amused, at the thought of playing Devil's advocate. First, she walked over to the bartender. who was slump over the few tables that stood up right. The tip of Aries wand rested on his temple, as she invoke a nonverbal memory modification charm. She placed a few images of her own into him.*

"Ms. Bontroval, you like a little mischief?"

*She said as she walked to another customer, and doing the exact same with him.*

"We have recruited a new Death Eater, and he is lying at your feet there, drowning in his own blood. Get my drift?"

Lamia's lips twisted into a frown, disliking that fact that they were allowing such a weakling to fight for the Deatheater's glorious purpose of purification, be it altering his thoughts or not. They had made a clear show of Adrian's public castration.

However, these men marred her face, already spelling out their deathwish.

"Don't i always" she smirked, eyeing the motionless body at her feet. Digging her heel into his crotch, she leaned forwards until he face was above his, an arm length away.

Using her Leglimency, she foraged through the depths of his sleeping mind, sprinkling a few bloody nightmares. She shuffled through his memories, selecting specific fragments to either alter, replace or remove. She twisted their thoughts, fueling their anger, directing it all to that poor unfortunate soul under Aries' spell.

She basked in the feeling of distance from her mortal body but like everyone, she had no abundance in time. She carried on with the other sleeping corpses.

(She is only turning the one into the death eater. The one who is about to die. She is moddifing the others when awoken so they will blame it on him, and Aries was the subduer.)

*Once the last person's mind manipulated in such a way that once awoken will exhibit false memories. As she took one last look of the plight that laid before her, she was pleased of the outcome. Now, she must play her part, and play it well.*

"If you don't want the Dementor's kiss place on those pretty lips of yours, I suggest you flee, Lamia."

*The threat was not her's to make, but the ministry and Hogwarts staff. After all Lamia was a wanted criminal, associated with the Death Eaters. Even if she was worthless filth, Aries plans could unravel and she did not particularly like the idea.*

"Go to the second floor, and out the window, I can handle it from here."

*Before Lamia went Aries snatch the child's arm and spun her around. They contempt that Aries had for Lamia was unmistakable on her face, and cold winter death danced in her eyes, when she whispered not a threat but a promise.*

"Next time you slip up like this, hon, you will wish you had that man's death."

Lamia glared at the woman before finally noticing the woman's sense in her escaping. Slowly, she spun around to make her way up the stairs.

However, she was soon returned to Aries' contemptuous gaze. The dislike was there, like it was in the many people Lamia had eye contact with.

Her stomach churned slightly as her gaze flickered to the woman's moving lips. The lips that had the dreaded taste of death embedded in the pigments coating it. However Lamia soon dubbed the cold shiver up her spine as a result from the frigid cold that surrounded them.

She tore away from the Headmistress' grip. Placing her right leg in front of her, she bowed her head for an insincere curtsy.

"As you wish, Oh Mistress Of Mine" Lamia drawled, a ghost of a smile upon her lips, her eyes flickering with mutual dislike for the woman.

She turned away once more to the stairs.

She spun round, her white dress forming into sleek black feathers. With one last caw to Aries, Lamia exited through the broken window. She had no intention of fully following that woman's orders seeing no perk in submitting to Aries.
