"Have a nice trip?" He asked with a smirk, indicating her hair

She glared at him, then burst into laughter. "I forget the distance, and it's so windy out there"

"I wouldn't know, I apparated" He said and ordered two drinks from the passing waitress

"And an owl tried to attack me"

She smirked..."Deja vu all over" she grinned glancing round.

"I was just thinking that, we were here in this exact spot 8 years ago" He said with a reminiscent smile

Lamia smirked, after we just had an argument with Sanderson, and the incident with the Acromantulas"

"Yeah... That was a good day" He said, downing his drink and asking for another 2

Lilith pulled her hood tightly as she entered, she knew that she was meant t be at school right now but she was parched and craved some firewhiskey...

Gabriel entered and sat down on one of the dusty tables in the corner, he ordered a firwhiskey and drank.

He forced back the tears as he allowed the fiery warmth fill his belly...

Trae walked in, relaxed and not caring about hiding his face. He stood against a wall quietly, he enjoyed being in crowded places. There was a small crowd here today, but it wasn't comparable to the usual. He liked to think in open places, even with all of the mingling voices. It made him feel at peace.

He looked up when he saw someone walk in, it was Trae.

He motioned for him to sit down if he wanted...

Trae nodded his head respectfully, walking over and taking a seat. Trae wasn't good at conversations outside of work. Or thinking of anything that didn't revolve around work, mathmatics, or thoughts. He's try, anyway.

"Hello, Gabriel."

"Trae" he nodded with a small smile. "Do you want a drink?" he asked, shuffling his chair to the side so there was more space...

"No. I don't drink, and I don't have a thirst to quench."

Trae sat quietly. An awkward silence, on the verge of becoming uncomfortable, so he tried to speak.

"Do you have a wife? Kids?"

He nodded. "No, but i have a brother and cousin, they're all i have" he said softly, "but we're how do you say...long distance."

He looked up from his drink, "And you?"

"Ahh, I see. I'm only 20, so I have my years to come. My family is back home, mom and dad. That's all I have, too."

Trae nodded his head, as if reassuring himself of what he had. An average family.

He gave a warm smile, then frowned, "you know the Three Broomsticks burnt down yesterday? they couldn't find Leo Sawyer's body" he felt a pang of guilt at not being there to help...

"Oh, that's sad to hear. We'll have to take a look later, update some of the ministry files."

Gauntrae thought about the ministry files. There were some for everything. On people, shops, areas, everything. It was impressive.

Gabriel nodded and smiled...

"Ministry files?" he asked, he had been closing himself off that he didn't know...

"We still have to keep ourselves updated with the world. The files probably still say that the Inn is active and alive."

Trae always tried to keep them updated, unlike most. It thought it was important to be up to date with everything that went on in the outside world. One day he's just grab the files and update them all, going around shop by shop, person by person.

He nodded, and leaned back in his chair "Well if you ever need any help Trae, you can always call" he grinned.

Trae nodded his head. He'd respect that. He wish he had known more about Gabriel from the ministry files, but those who worked for the ministry were much more secret, harder to access and locked up for only the Minister to see.

"...how old are you, Gabriel?"

"26, give or take" he grinned, "Why?" he asked curiously...

"Just trying to get to know you."

Which was true, for most. Trae did try to get to know people, but he was more for the factual information aspect then he was for someone's likes and hobbies.
