The Perks of being a Pickpocketer [Tag: Adeon, Carling, Choi, and Vladimir]

(I say it all the time. People look at me like I am crazy.)

As the behemoth size man left the bar to go look for his date, Choi saw no point in staying. The bartender however was eyeing the wade of cash he carried in his hand. He was severally disappointed when Choi replaced his money back into his inside coat pocket, not offering the bartender for any more information about the whereabouts of Aimee Mitchelle.

Choi want nothing to do with the freaks of the Magical World, so he did not linger any longer in the Leaky Cauldron. But as he got outside the wide girth of the giant blocked him from exiting. Did the oaf not know how to put one foot in front of the other? "Escuse you," he said loudly squeezing through a gap between the door and the lard ass. "Do not know...you not suppose to...block thee...Hey!" Choi said seeing the flaming haired vixen surrounding by the cloak man, and the troll. Before she could vanish in thin air again, he took her other arm, gripping it a little bit harder than the man with the cloak. His wand still in his right hand.

Somehow (and Vladimir certainly wondered how, now that he thought of it) he got himself stuck in this odd situation; for one, he felt awfully out of place when it turned out Carling knew the man who, eh, swept her away, and even the important person seemed to in fact have some business with the girl. So much information, even with the major part lacking, made Vladimir's head hurt. He should not have got involved in the first place and just carried on with his business. Now Carling's smile mocked him.

"Perish the thought-" he began to say, when that same foreign accent sounded behind him. In all honesty, Vladimir was finding it growingly irritable. Before he could protest on his rude behaviour, however, the funny little man stepped forward to cling to Carling.

If Vladimir stepped forward as well, it'd probably look weird. (idly he wondered just how many men Carling had in her life) Instead he spoke up from his position, raising a brow to the other two. "Gentlemen, let the lady breathe, hmm?"

Carling scoffed as though disgusted, as she was jerked towards Adeon. She didn't fight his grip; she realized when someone was stronger than her, and knew when she couldn't run away, despite what he might think. As he did little more than inform her as to what she would be doing for the next god knows how long, she stared him right in the face, everything vanishing from her mind with a snap of his finger. She stepped back one step, still imprisoned by the grip of his black leather gloves. Was he toying with her, or completely serious? From what she'd learned from him, he had a rather sadistic sense of humor, but he was also the boring serious type. Hell, he could be toying with her, and be totally serious. Why was he so damn complicated? He couldn't honestly want her help, if she'd spoiled his work. What kind of idiot wanted help from somebody who'd indefinitely muck up the job? He could of just been one of those gents that enjoyed intimidating women to do as he pleased. It fit, him being a mass murderer and all. She just had to show she wasn't scared. Yeah, that would do it.

The big bear standing in the doorway to the Cauldron seemed to be saying something, but Carl didn't hear a word of it. She stepped back towards Adeon, closing the distance between them as she drew a sly smile, "Are you trying to frighten me?" She didn't care about 'playing along' in front of Vladimir, or anyone who happened to be in the pub. It wasn't like she'd be seeing them again. Their opinion didn't matter her, it was Adeon who was wearing the hood, not her. Carling was Carling, so these people would get what they get. But she took such delight in being the only one allowed a view of the face beneath the hood. She almost forgot what he had grabbed her for.

Her attention was only steered away when she was jerked away. She turned, livid, as her gaze met the foreign disturbance, "Let go!" She struggled to free herself from both men before as a final act, she turned and aimed a kick at the second man where it'd hurt most. "Yes, a bit of air would be nice!" She huffed.

A smirk crossed over Adeon's lips and a scuff escaped his mouth. Fright, no, not necessarily, but she certainly gave a reaction, and the laugh teased his lips as he didn't let it escape. A bit of pleasure, that's what Adeon felt in seeing her reaction. She seemed almost too easy to predict sometimes, with that personality of hers. It kind of matched her hair in it's wild red color.

And then came the asian boy.

He grabbed hold of Carling as well, and Adeon let go, although he wasn't very happy about it. This guy was like a leech, and he didn't even make and damn sense. If you were going to live in England, at least speak English. Any accent is find, it's not like Adeon's even from around here, but this man didn't even seem to want to put the effort in to learn English, which was just ridiculous, he wasn't above anyone else. Clearly, seeing as how even Carling got a hold of his shit. This was nonsense. It's not like she was going to give it back, Adeon wasn't that stupid.

As Carling sent a kick, Adeon's smirk only grew wider. She had quite the aversion to wand casting.

(Well, how else is Choi suppose to describe him if he does not know Vlad's name?

He speaks fluent Korean, Japanese, and I believe French. he uses Japanese and Korean interchangeable.)

Choi hardly felt intimidated being in the midst of two wizards and a petty crook. Even though the boulder size man loomed over him a good meter taller than him, and the cloak man surrounded himself in mystery, he, Seung Pyo, remain as cool as winter snow. The girl on the other hand, she was beneath contempt, and did not fall in the same category as these two gentleman, let alone the Great Seung Pyo Choi.

As if fallowing the flow of motion, Choi instinctively raised his left leg. His thigh taking most of the force. No angry out burst, pain or misery flowed from his lips, even though he knew that a bruise had already started to form. His reaction time did not come down to luck, but discipline. It took years of blistering fingers and long nights to master hand eye coordination. Not only that, but the slut wasn't the first woman to kick him in his family jewels, and she would not be the last. Ecentric fan girls, ex girlfriends to women he barely knew, all of them turned on Choi once they found out they were not his whole world, but a star that once shown bright in the sky. but fizzled out many years ago.

"Sweet Cheeks," Choi said in perfect English, as if it was an insult to say it in such a way, hardly letting go of her arm. "Gib it back in tree seconds." That was his simple request. "3." His eyes motion up and down the girls body as if examining what could have been an interesting night. "2." Choi's face, first expressionless the whole time, now had a smirk that brought his boyish charms to light. "1." He did not wait for her to return it. His wand was already in hand. A simple thought jumped to the forefront of Choi's mind and the wand instinctively reacted. A severing charm point blankly shot from his wand towards the girl's chest. It was not aim to sever her shirt to shreds or a body part, but her bra, where his wallet was being kept.

She gave a short huff as he blocked her foot, rendering her harmless. Now that she was free from Adeon, she stepped back from Choi, though his grip on her arm did not waver in the slightest. She stared him down, the massive heels of her boots just giving her enough height to feel, well, 'above' all of this. She smiled her pretty smile as he looked her up and down in the midst of his countdown. What did he plan to do? Talk her to death? Heh, this time, someone else was the harmless one.

And then it snapped.

Her smile changed to a look of apprehension, but her hands were quicker than her head. As a peculiar looking wallet fell through her shirt, her hand caught it and immediately held it out, away from the Asian. "Oh, you want this?" What she lacked in magic, she made up in physique. When she threw that wallet, it landed all the way on the other side of the street. She then yanked her wand from her pants, and threw an expulso from her extended arm. Missed. She was undeterred, however, as she attempted several more times, the sound being nothing more than what muggles would have assumed to be firecrackers. A spark finally lit the tiny wallet, and set off with an anti-climatic pop! Her face almost fell, until the wallet landed, charred and useless. She immediately turned back to the man, smiling as she did so, as though her horrible display of magic had never happened. "Oops."

Choi, with an impassive expression, watched as Sweet Cheeks threw another tantrum. At first he was mildly intrigued as she threw his wallet, it skidding just out of reach from the drainage ditch, but once her wand was withdrawn from her paints pocket, it just became pitiful. She was like a toddler missing her mother’s tit. Each spell she launched at the wallet, just fizzled out, missing its mark. Choi hardly tried to stop her, in fact he encouraged her by releasing her arm from his grip, but that hardly made a difference. At last she hit her mark, but it was less impressive than what he thought it would have been. The wallet just sizzled, until the snake skin was black. A single flame at one of the corner edges of the wallet taunted Sweet Cheeks of her inadequate failure.

This only amplified by Choi’s boyish smile. “Sweet Cheeks,” he said. He only took his eyes off hers for a moment to see where his wallet had landed still smoldering in a pitiful attempt at magic, before returning his gaze back on hers. He raised his wand up and wordlessly sent another spell. It hit without a doubt where he intended it too. The wallet turned to cinder. “Butter luck next time.”

Choi went through the group before him, pushing Sweet Cheeks aside. His wand was replace by his cell phone. “Ye obo se yo,” Choi speaking in Korean, before he disappeared into thin air.

Well, that didn't at all remind her of her seven year nightmare back in Hogwarts. She knew plenty of assholes back then too. Had that stopped her from pissing off every Slytherin in school? No. She'd settle the score with the Asian, didn't matter when, just that it happened. She felt rather loose and exposed, but she wouldn't give him the satisfaction of knowing he'd gotten to her. She just stared at him, as he shoved passed and disapparated, trying to decide what strange species he was.

Once he was gone though, Carling took a moment to look at the ashes left across the street. Then, slowly, she smiled. Then, proceeded into a fit of laughter as she pulled out a flimsy card with the letters 'V.I.P.' printed across it.

"Well, I would love to help you," She spoke between laughs, "But I'm afraid I'll be needing a change of clothes after that! Bye~" She waved to Adeon, then to Vladimir as she began, rather briskly, walking away from the two of them. Adeon wouldn't just kidnap her in front of a witness, right? It's not like he'd done it before or anything.

"Not happening."

Adeon grabbed her wrist, pulling her with him down the sidewalk, and is Vladimir so chose to follow, turned abruptly into an alley, disapparating into another blocks away, just about where his target would be getting to, Adeon having judged his walking speed and taking note that he had turned right when he exited the bar. The man didn't seem to be in a hurry, so Adeon was sure that he would be showing up soon. Just a few more minutes, and he'd be passing by...

"Just grab his attention, pull him in here. It'll take two minutes, maybe less since you're hair is practically on fire, little duckling."

He remembered what Choi has done, and a smirk crossed his lips as an idea came to mind. He wasn't serious, of course, with what he said next, but it certainly amused him. She had the hair, bright and messy. The tight clothes, lack of a bra...she could probably pull it off quite well.

"You could play prostitute? That'd be an easy one."

She'd hardly made two steps before Adeon grabbed her again and started dragging her down the sidewalk. She sighed, only to roll her eyes and smirk. Right before he took an abrupt turn, and the world spun again.

"Dammit, would you quit doing that!" She hissed as she dizzily stumbled a few steps back. Once her head cleared up, she opened her eyes and looked around.

"Classy." Carling frowned as she looked at him, "What the hell's this guy look like?" She crossed her arms grumpily. Is this all he wanted her for? That was disappointing. It only made her want to get this over with as soon as possible. She had a new club to brighten her evening. The fact that he was keeping her from it made her look like a child who couldn't get a shiny new toy.

"I don't know. Brown hair. He'll be the one coming around the corner in...45 seconds. Green cloak."

He looked at her for a moment, waiting. She'd do the job for him. Well, not the actually job, but she'll get him in here. Adeon wasn't gonna wait around for him all day, he just wanted to get it over with. And he couldn't just snatch the guy, as if that wouldn't raise any flags. No, it was better for him if Carling just got him in here, so that no one would see. Either that or Adeon would have to wait another two to three days. Heh, like hell was he going to do that. He could be getting so many other jobs done in that time span. No, he'd complete this and get it over with.

The whole scene ran through his head, Adeon figuring our every move before he made it. Carling would bring him in. He'd stand approximate 2 feet away from her, facing her, back to the street. Enough room to cut his throat, and no need for more. The man carried his wand in his back pocket, just far enough that he wouldn't have the time to get it before Adeon hit him. 2 minutes, that's what Adeon gave himself to get the job done. That's all he needed.

"Would you go already?"

Carling just rolled her eyes as she turned around and walked out into the street. The second she turned she ran straight into the man Adeon must have been looking for, and now the man was blatantly aware of her 'feminine' side, thanks to the stupid foreigner that ruined her day. He looked down at her, proving to be even taller than her heels could match up to.

Carling smiled, as she craned her neck just to look at the guy, though, subconsciously, she was avoiding direct eye contact. Didn't need to be staring at a dead man walking. Bad luck, that was, and Carling had plenty enough already.

"Oh, sorry sir!" She squinted her eyes as though the sun was shining a wee bit too bright in her face, "Do you think you could help me? I've dropped a contact in the alley, and I can't find it for the life of me." Ew. What a poor choice of words. It convinced him easily enough though, she must've caught his attention more easily than she thought- he was wearing the sort of smirk gents wore when they were alone with her, so she must've had him around her finger. It made her smirk just like he did, once she'd turned to walk back down into the alley. As she 'assumed' he would begin searching as well, she bent down, running her fingers along the pavement. She paused just quick enough to brace herself.

Adeon, having been in the shadows, took only a second to throw a knife that he held in his belt, perfectly slicing the man's throat and killing him instantly. Some of the man's blood had mad it's way onto Carling, his body falling backwards, Adeon's knife stuck into the brick wall on the other side of the alley. And the only thing that Adeon could now think of was how stupid Carling was.

He didn't tell her anything about the man. He could have had a knife, or his wand readily in his hand, and even with Adeon there, she was so willing to turn his back to him, playing the part of a girl who lost a contact. How dumb was she? You never, ever turn your back. You can play just as good of a role facing the man. She'd get herself killed on day, he knew it. This wasn't the muggle world that she so loved. There were real predators out here, and she was easy prey.

The words caught in his throat though. He wasn't about to feign concern over her. He wasn't that much of an idiot, and he was more prideful then that. Plus, he didn't want to seem like he cared, influencing what he next said.

"Well, see you later."

He walked over to his knife and pulled it out of the brick wall with ease, pocketing it back to where it belonged as he was speaking to Carling. He wouldn't even turn around to face her as he spoke.

She flinched, as the impact of blood hit her back, reminding her of the not-too-long-ago bullet she took to the shoulder. The quirky little Carling she normally was had taken a back seat, as she stood back up and looked over at him. His back was turned, as he dismissed her, but she didn't find it too amusing. Why did boys have to be so dramatic?

"Uh huh." She said with a frown. She didn't look at him for long, seeing as he obviously didn't want to be looked at, and also Carling didn't feel like seeing the corpse. Instead she started walking down the alley, the opposite way she'd come in. She took off her sweatshirt while she was at it, and turned it inside out to hide the blood. Least this wasn't her favorite sweatshirt, she thought as she turned the corner and headed back home to brood.
