| For the first time in awhile Choi was to be found without his Entourage following his every move. There wore no bodyguards for his own protection, nor his attendants, who follows every single whim Choi has. Even his Chief Secretary was absent from his side. Speak of the devil, his cellphone rang and it was none other than Secretary Woo himself.
"여보세요." Hello. It was unlike Choi to slip away, unnoticed, to travel down the sketchy part of London, and for what? He asked that of himself as he walked closer to his destination, the Leaky Cauldron. Secretary Woo voice sounded abrupt and worried, but Choi cut him off, in Korean, before he got any farther. "I need to know. That is all." He paused once more to listen to Secretary Woo go into another tangent about duty and obligation, before once more settling the matter. "Cancel all my appointments for today, and see to it that my attendants do what I asked." Choi did not say goodbye, before hanging up the phone.

| It was a rather dingy morning today, the air was damp with a light fog and the sky was grey with a mute indifference. Carling hated such icky weather; it always made her hair frizz up without fail. It was hardly manageable, even tied back and hidden under her camo cap. Because of the weather and her fussy hair, Carl hadn't even bothered with her layers upon layers of black smoky makeup today.
She stood out on the sidewalk, exchanging a few coins for the new paper, as the paper boy was speaking with her. She stopped the conversation by rudely ripping out a sheet of the newspaper and using it as a tissue. The man looked at her quietly before she turned and started walking the other way. With her mucky sinuses and wretched appearance today, she needed to pass on the misery to someone else.
How unfortunate for Mr. Foreigner walking ahead of her. Carling smiled as she clenched the remaining newspaper in her hand and bolted out into him, shoving him.
"S'cuse me, mate!" She said with a grin, as one hand rested on his shoulder apologetically, while at the same time, the other hooked his wallet out of his back pocket before she continued on. All this happened within a few moments, to Carling's satisfaction. And she just so happened to be near the Leaky Cauldron. How lucky!
Carling would lose the muggle around the corner once she reached the pub.

| Stood by the bar of the dark, shabby pub, Vladimir loomed over all its other guests; some observed him with cautious interest, but most (and most importantly, the bartender) knew him as a regular visitor to the Leaky Cauldron, if not as the Hogwarts gamekeeper.
Earlier this morning, Vladimir had been to pick up some supplies in Diagon Alley. He came in to eat, as some other business awaited later in the afternoon. None of the soups on the menu looked much appealing, mind you, but he wasn't going to be back at the school before nightfall and his tummy had begun to argue. Nursing a tankard of mead, he was debating rather seriously whether to go with House Leaky Soup or Leaky House Soup. One had to be worse than the other, though Vladimir could not quite remember which had that slightly foggy taste. It would suit the weather; and his mood perfectly.

| Choi looked both ways before Crossing the street. Very few cars could be seen driving through this part of town. He wouldn't have been their if it was not for a pressing matter he must attend too. Filth clung to the walls of shops and restaurants, dust settle in abandon apartments, and trash could be seen everywhere being blown by the wind. It disgust him.
Even the street merchant looked shady, when he asked him to buy a newspaper from him. All Choi did was walked on, ignoring the poor boy. But than all of a sudden a women ran into him. "병신. Watch what you are going." It could have been an honest mistake, but the street was hardly busy, but she hardly slowed down. Her fire red hair whipped out of sight as she turn the corner.
He followed her, not intended in pursuit, but he was going in the same direction as her. Their stood the muggle bookshop, and the records store, and nestled in between them a shabby looking entrance.

| Carling slowed at the last minute so she wouldn't completely barge through the door to the Leaky Cauldron. As she half stumbled in, she dropped the wallet down the front of her shirt, where it would be safe until she could have a chance to inspect it. Now certainly wasn't the time. She crossed the pub, and took a seat at the bar, sitting right next to the gargantuan in the room.
"Ello handsome." Carling nudged him with a grin. She didn't have any money on her at the moment, a habit she acquired as a thief, so instead, she may as well have a conversation while she waded out her time. And Carling surely wasn't afraid of the big brute- it was always the little ones that had the loudest bark. This one was harmless.

| Vladimir lifted his gaze from the menu with a start. He had not expected to be addressed; and certainly not in such a manner. His eyes moved to observe left and right, as he silently pondered whether perhaps he was mistaken for someone (not likely, at his height) or if there was someone standing close to him, that he had not noticed before. There wasn’t. Unless it was the bartender- no, the young woman very clearly had her eyes fixed on Vladimir. Could it be she was someone he knew, but had forgotten? His expression clearly told that he was clueless how to respond.

| In the corner of the establishment, sitting in the shaded region was a cloaked figure. Dark, unnoticed, and watching.
Adeon was on business. He was tracking a man who sat on a stool at the bar, drinking his life away. Drinking the money away that he owed Adeon's client, and seeing that Adeon was here, his intentions were obvious. Stoic, he hardly moved, had a cold beer in front of him, full for the past hour. He never touched it. His gaze had been indistinguishable under his hood, until he heard a voice. Her voice.
Looking up, Adeon spotted Carling. A roll of his eyes and a tense jaw, his frustration was obvious. Could he ever get away from her? Not only that, but every time she showed up she seemed to mess up his work. She better not do it now, not again.
But he was sure she'd find a way.

| Carl giggled as she leaned forward and rested her chin on her hand, taking in the full appearance of his befuddled face, "Would you have forgotten a pretty face like mine if we had?"
Was she conceited? Yes. But all the while, she had a playful way of going about it. She crossed her legs and straightened up a bit, then smiled as she laced her fingers together and tilted her head to the side.
"Just looking for a nice gent to talk to. Would you rather I left you alone then?" She frowned. Perhaps he wasn't as friendly as she would have hoped.

| He stopped at the corner, and watch the women who just bumped into him walk not into the book store, nor the record store, but the Leaky Cauldron. That place her square into the dislike pile. One, she wrinkled his suit, and second she was a heathen, not to mention she was a commoner. After watching the door close, he in turn cross the street and went into the Leaky Cauldron. Choi stood in the doorway, casting a huge shadow, as he scan the patrons of the parlor. He took off his sunglasses and slip it in his left coat pocket. It was much darker than he expected, with low flickering candle lights flickering on each table and lanterns mounted on the wall, so he could hardly distinguish anyone except for this brute of a man towering over everyone at the bar, next to him was the woman who interrupted his walk. Her red hair stands out even in this dark, dankly place. The bartender stood behind the counter, with a rag wiping down his glasses. That was the man he was looking for. "'scuse me?" he said approaching in on the opposite side of the bar. He just grunted and continue wiping away the filth from the glass. "Do you speak a-any English?" he said talking like this man was a baboon. The man grunted again before setting down his glass. He responded with a quick deep growl of a "Yesss." Choi nodded his head, before reaching into his coat pocket once again and pulling out a photo. "Hab you seen her, wecently?" he said, his English atrocious. It was a photo of Aimee Mitchelle in her concert gown, playfully shying away from the camera. Choi did not understand why he cared about her so much, or what drove him to find her. He chalked it up to him like messing with her, and poking fun of her. But the concert was the last day he saw her, and he wanted to know why or where she went. But all the Bartender did was stare blankly at the photo, than return back to wiping down another cup. | |

| Vladimir wondered. He could not remember her from Durmstang, and he had been at Hogwarts these past two, three? years. She looked to be around his age, so not a Hogwarts student, either. This woman was a stranger to him. “I- don’t mind,” Vladimir decided, Leaky House Soup forgotten for the time being. If he were completely honest, it had been a while since he held a proper conversation. “Vladimir Orlov. A pleasure to meet you, Miss..?” | |

| She smiled once he hadn't turned her away, and she rested her elbows on the counter as she withdrew the wallet from her undershirt and stood it up on the wooden surface, inspecting the contents with a lazy glance while also shielding any form of identity for the wallet from Vladimir.
"It's Carling. No need for the 'miss'." She grinned, "You can call me Carl for short. Most people do."
Within the wallet, there were several things that told Carling who her victim had been. For one, a VIP pass into a club- a rather tastefully high class one, no less- two, a pair of platinum credit cards- quite shiny, she had to add- and a stack of euro bills. The VIP pass caught her attention, so she took that out for now, and pocketed it for safe keeping.
"So what's a gent like you doing this fine day?" She asked as she turned her attention back to him.

| Choi knew what the man wanted, better than the bartender knew what he wanted. Money talks, so he dig in his from pocket to pull out his bag of wizard coins, which was extremely light because he had not gone to replenish it in awhile, and only had two gallon coins. He set it on the counter, and the man just scoffed at it. "Boy! It is going to take a lot more money than that before I talk." The bar man turn his back on Choi and stalked away to help another patron who ordered another bear. | |

| “Carling,” Vladimir accepted with a nod. He took a sip of his mead, casting a look at another near customer and taking note of the trouble the bartender was giving him. Vladimir put his tankard down on the bar, motioning so the bartender would take notice of him before he spoke. “Come Emrick, can’t you recognize a man in distress? He’s not asking for much now, is he?”
He offered Carling a smile, cocking his head to a large bag at his feet. “Just picking up a couple of things. Got some business down in the alley later. Yourself?”

| As Vladimir spoke to the bartender, Carling turned over to see what man in distress he'd been referring to, only to twitch and quietly turn her head back to Vladimir. She then took the time to somewhat calmly put away 'her' wallet.
The man was a wizard, go figure. Carling should know by now how wretched her luck was. She never could really catch a break now could she?
"Oh, I was supposed to be meeting someone here, but it turns out they canceled plans. Rude I know, but hey." She shrugged.

| Adeon stared at Carling and the man that she was flirting with. Could she be any louder? Her voice was practically ear-piercing. But it was more so her words that caught his attention. Meeting someone, and who was that someone? Surely no one to trust, and hopefully no one that would scare away his target, the many had many affiliations, and Adeon hoped that he had none in common with Carling.
If she caused him any more trouble—and when Adeon looked back, his target was gone. Pissed, he turned around and watched the man walk out of the door, his back turned. Not that Adeon didn’t have time, he had plenty of time to study him and complete his job, but Carling interrupted everything. She was probably the one to scare the piece of shit away!
Now Adeon would have to come back tomorrow. A waste of his time and screwing up his plans. Of course he blamed Carling, Adeon wouldn’t dare blame himself, even if it was his fault.
He saw the wallet, too, as she had toyed with it in her hands. Seriously, did she think pick-pocketing in this world was okay? Like hell, she’ll get herself killed, things weren’t the same as her hiding in a muggle realm where her wand could do more than it could here. The idiot.

| Choi ignored the patron's comment about being under distress. As if, he thought to himself as he gathered two of his last galleons. It did not matter to him one way or the other if he found her, it was only an idle curiosity that Choi had about the whereabouts of Aimee. To temp him further, he decided to sweeten the pot and he reached for his back pocket. Nothing. He reached for his other back pocket, than his front, than his coats. All void of his wallet. "젠장!" he said out loud.
"- but it turns out they canceled plans. Rude I know, but hey."
The woman with the flaming red hair caught his attention. The last place he had it was right before, paying the cab fair. A heathen, a commoner, and now a thief, she was the trifecta of the scum in this city. All the pieces fit, and it was blatant obvious she stole it. Instead of getting mad, or getting even he politely walked around Vladimir and seat right next to the thief.
"Sugar," he said mixing up an Australian accent, with an American Southern accent. "You hab somethin of mine. I...preciate...it if I can hab it back."

| If Vladimir was about to comment, he missed his chance when the man (a foreigner, Vladimir noted then, and not appearing as distressed as he originally thought) spoke to have Carling's attention. His words stuck interest, certainly, making Vladimir's brows rise slightly in an unspoken question. He took another sip of his mead, silently curious about the effect of this claim. | |

| "You have a wot?" Carling turned to face the foreigner, "I'm sorry, I didn't catch that." She raised an eyebrow as she sized him up and down. Is English was horrible, what the hell was he doing in London? She had moved her attention to Choi so fully, it was as though she'd completely forgotten or abandoned her conversation with Vladimir. | |

| Their was two options that was at Choi's disposal. One he could take it by force by one simple spell. Two, she could just hand it over. He particularly would enjoy the latter, but just in case he slid his Cherry Wood wand out of his front pocket with one hand, and the other his handkerchief. He polished it until it shine, before laying it neatly on the bar counter, before turning his attention back on the thief.
"Madame, you are a cleber girl." Choi was oozing in charm as he lazily lean against the counter. His eyes never once taking them off hers. "But prease don't insult me intelligence by fending ignorance."

| "No, seriously." Carling turned to Vladimir, "Do you understand a word he's saying? Bloody hell, man." She laughed as she stood up, "Now if you don't mind, I believe I'll be off, mate. Later Vladdy." She tapped Vladimir's shoulder playfully before stepping away from him, and more importantly Mr. Foreigner. She'd had quite enough company for the day, perhaps a swift exit would be best. | |

| Now she was going to get herself into trouble, just like her said--well, thought. Turning her back like that was a stupid move. The asian kid could pull a wand out at her, did she even think about that? Hell, did she even think at all?
Adeon fought himself, too. Should he just leave her to learn her lesson? He doesn't get that much of a benefit out of having her around. Or, well, she did have some worthy connections...or was he just kidding himself? If he helped her out now, she'd owe him. Not that he knew if she'd follow through on it, and she probably wouldn't.
This was ridiculous. She was ridiculous. Adeon heaved a sigh, what the hell. His body moved out of his seat, grasping his hand around Carling's arm and taking only a second to apparate them, but not far as it may have appeared to those watching them. He simply appeared outside of the bar, in the sunlight with the door right behind them. They would trudge back in if they wanted to.
The hood still covered his face, but the sunlight was bright enough, and Adeon's head wasn't tilted down, so Carling could easily see who it was.

| "Chotto mate," Choi said reacting to her leaving as if she did nothing wrong. He followed in quick pursuit of the thief. As he caught up to her, he reached out to take her hand, but someone clocked in midnight black robes got to her first. In an instant, they blinked out of sight and all Choi grabbed was smoke.
Surprisingly, Choi seemed so calm about the situation, as he settled back down in his original seat looking between the bartender and the large patron at the bar, who stared equally back at him. All Choi did was give a weak smile to both of them, before he became preoccupied dialing a number. "Hello," Choi responded back into his native language. "Its Choi SeungPyo. In form me if any of my credit cards are used."
Choi eyes wander the leaky Cauldron until they once again found them on the Bartender. The man was gawking at him in surprise and disgust. Choi hardly notice, more likely he hardly did not care what the fool thought of him. "No. I don't want my cards cancelled," he said more forcefully, ignoring now the glares of half the room. "I want to catch the Shibal nyon." He hung up with a click of a button.
Turning his attention back to the behemoth of a patron, he asked, "How much do I owe you?" Choi acted like nothing happen as he pulled out a large some of cash held snuggle in a money clip. He never hold all his money in one place. That is what foolish people do, and Choi was not foolish.

| (I like that random Japanese phrase)
Vladimir waved his big hand as Carling gave her goodbyes; and found himself staring at nothing as she was swept off by- just what appeared to be some random guy and oh god she was kidnapped by some crazy person probably, wasn't she? Leaky House Soup would have to wait! The half-giant drank the rest of his mead, leaving a coin for the bartender; then Vladi headed for the door, clumsily, as if that would do any good when Carl had been apparate-kidnapped- which was weird, now that Vladimir thought about it, he never heard of such a thing; apparition-kidnappings.
He stepped out of the pub the wrong way, too, out into the muggle world when the more obvious way should have been the Diagon Alley. He needed to be there later, anyway. And yet there Carling stood, unharmed, along with the hooded man (at least, Vladimir presumed the hooded figure was a man, but then what did he know?). "I'm not sure what just happened."
Vladimir turned his head to look back at the door of the Leaky Cauldron. He had heard the foreigner speak (to a strange device, that spoke back to him), but only just did his words register in Vladi's brain. "I feel like there was an important person there."

| She had the situation perfectly under control. In fact, she was thinking about what she wanted for supper this evening once she got back home. All she had to do was step out, give him the slip, and she was home free. Her attention was redirected from such thoughts as a dark hood approach her, and just before she was yanked away, she yelped and then they were gone.
She absolutely hated Apparition. It was worse than a quadruple loop roller coaster- not that she liked those any better. Carling glanced up, yanking away from him. They were only outside the bar. She couldn't even handle that short of an apparition without getting sick? She looked up at her kidnapper, red in the face, wanting to kick him where he'd regret it most.
"Fuck, man, what the hell?" She stepped back from him like he would turn her to ash on the spot. She jumped again, as the door behind her opened, only to see the harmless half-giant again. Had he come looking for her? That was awfully sweet. Wait. Was Adeon trying to help her then? She returned her attention to him and his hood, crossing her arms as she looked him up and down. "You thought I was in trouble didn't you?" She actually looked at both of them as she spoke, then giggled in a sly sort of way. "How sweet."

| Eyes began to roll as Adeon heard the 'cute' comments of Carling. She was embarassing, and not because she was praising him--she probably didn't intend to praise him at all--but because of her weak stance and acts. He was still annoyed. How dumb could she be?
He grabbed her by the arm, nothing tight, but definitely nothing loose.
"Okay, you're coming with me. My target left due to your obnoxious mouth, so you're going to help me get him back."
He smirked, as if he was joking so as to not lead on Vladimir to was he does, but Carling would know that there was no joke. He wanted to try to rouse a reaction out of her, "Don't worry, little duckling, I'll only get a bit of blood on you."
