The Attic

She watched the owl for a moment and gave it a pet before leaning back in to the couch. She studied her fingers as if trying to find something she could come up with there. "I know what your saying... but there will never be a safe place."

Cazz laughed a little. "I want to say a joke, but everything escapes me right now."

Cazz sat there feeling a little uneasy as she tried to think of what to say next. She leaned her head back looking around the room trying to occupy her self.

Looking around a little more she turned back to Luke. Watching him for a little while until turning away she rubbed her left arm. "So... There will be a full moon soon."

Cazz sighed moving the bird to the floor so she could lean forward. Her chest was resting on her legs as she looked at the floor. "What?... What do you want to say?"

"They asked about who you really where, where could you be found most times, if you were thinking about joining there side." Cazz got up sighing.

Cazz kept her back turned to him and shrugged slightly. "They still have your parents they might want to know where and what there golden boy is doing."

Cazz looked down softly at him. "From the day you were learning potions way pasted any eleven year old could make... you became that. They just wanted to know if you were going to come peacefully or were they going to have to make threats."

Cazz shook her head no. "I didn't tell them anything just so you know."

Cazz waited for him to continue looking around the room a bit before looking back at him.

Cazz paused for a moment not expecting that to come out of his mouth. "Alexandra's brother was working in the ministry then. When he found out he got me out dropped me off at home... By then everyone was gone except my father and t-they killed him in front of me."She bit her lower lip trying to hold back most of her emotions.

Cazz sat there feeling a bit more hollow then when she arrived. "Don't be you didn't do it." All most all emotion escaped her voice.

Setting her head down on her knee and closed her eyes. Barely above a whisper she started to speak. "Have you ever wanted to die so bad you went looking for it?"
