The Attic

She looked at him intently.
"If you give this up now, you'll be able to spend more time becoming an even better potions master Luke. Do you really think they'd be proud that their son could be selling potions to criminals?" Alexandra said sadly, then she did something that surprised herself and hugged him.

"Look. I have enough money to last me several life-times, it doesn't kill my bank account to lend you some alright?" she let go awkwardly and continued.
"You remind me of my brother." her eyes changed to a dark blue again. "I just want to help you." Alexandra sat down on the couch again and petted the cat absent-mindedly.

She thought this over.
"So this is what you want to spend your time doing?"
Alexandra prepared herself to be disappointed by him. She really thought he had so much more talent than brewing potions for pharmacies and joke shops.

She looked at him thoughtfully trying a different approach.
"If I could do something that would mean you wouldn't have to brew anything except for lessons and your own pleasure, would you except it?"

"Now you eyes have change once again...can you tell me why?" he said curious putting his potion making to rest. He did not mind making potions to sell because it helped him in more ways than money.

She laughed quietly, "I'm flattered that I'm worth more to you than a couple of potions. But if you ever need help, just tell me."
Becoming serious, her eyes relaxed back into the grey that everyone was accostomed to.
"Don't freak out. And watch."

Alexandra concentrated and let her body change and transform. A few seconds later, a wolf stood where she used to be.

The wolf grinned and she shifted back into her normal self again. Alexandra dropped onto the couch and leaned back, relaxing.
"You're smart enough to know that I'm not an animagus. So you understand why my eye color changed at the shop?"

She nodded, "I'll be brief since you look tired.
My eyes change color involentarily sometimes if I feel strong emotion. Pretty stereotypical color reading. Blue when I'm sad. Red when I'm ticked off. Gold when I feel strongly about protecting someone or doing something 'good'." she made quotation marks with her fingers since good is relative.
"When my eyes turn black, you really don't want to come near me. Especially if it moves out of my iris and into the whites of my eyes."
Alexandra cocked her head, "Anything else you want to know?"

She smiled at Luke's generosity.
"Thanks. That'd be great if I could, I have no clue what his address is and I don't want to end up at Knockturn Alley at this time of night."
Standing up, she gestured for him to lead her to the guest room.

She nodded, and walked out the door.

Alexandra walked in and left a note.
Thanks so much for the stay, but I should return to Vinzenz now. Send me an owl if you need anything.

With this, she opened a window and concentrated. Soon a hawk was flying out of Luke's attic.

Eirina smiled and nodded her head respectively, walking and and taking a quick glance before turning to Luke.

"So what's wrong?"

Eirina simply shook her head.

"No thank you, I've had plenty before leaving the house."

She walked over and took a seat.

"Now then, why have you asked for my presence?"

(Eirina is only 24 right now, so I'll just play with the age to make it a bit more realistic!)

Eirina looked at the picture, a sad smile coming to her face.

"The beautiful wife was a friend of mine. I was only roughly 14 at the time, but I guess I could pull off a 20 year old. She's a wonderful women, and so is her husband. But, they're sadly hurt really bad right now..."

Eirina looked up and shook her head for a second.

"Oh, I'm sorry, I was rambling without thinking. What were you- wait, how do you have this picture?"
