Strange Meeting (Timothy)

Kimbree had decided to try something new. She had found a potion in a book she had found lying around in the Gryffindor common room and it seemed interesting enough to try. She had all of her ingredients that she needed so she decided to start. She started to read over what the book was telling her to do. She let out a loud sign. This was going to take a while.

Timothy had just left the Slytherin common room to wander the castle when he heard a loud sigh and went to investigate.
"Hullo." He poked his head into the classroom, spotting a younger brunette girl. "What're you up to?" He smiled a tiny bit.

The sudden sound of a boy talking made Kimbree jump. She had always been slightly skittish and the sudden noise did not help the matter. She didn't really want to tell the boy what she was doing so she tried to be as rash as possible with her answer.

"Oh, H-hello. I'm, you know, just reading over some material I found in the l-library that's all."
She didn't know if he would approve or scold her. He was obviously an older boy and she didn't trust if he would rat her out or not. Since she had started at Hogwarts she had learned never to trust people until you absolutely know what they are all about because you never know what kind of person they may be.

She was thankful she hadn't brought out all of the ingredients for her little "project". If he was one to tell, it would be hard to explain all of the ingredients to him. She was never a good liar with her stutter and all. She had some help during earlier months to help control it but it still came up during some conversations. She chose to turn the page in secret in case he decided to come over and take a look at what she was doing. She could not afford to be in trouble this year. It would not end good if she did. She shuddered at the thought.

"Potions class, eh? Mind if I watch? I'm just bored." Timothy smiled as he took a few steps into the room, crinkling his eyes a bit to make it look genuine, trying to put the girl at ease. She was holding herself, both blocking and soothing, was it possible she was trying to hide a secret or something? It would make sense for her to be quite nervous around authority if she were hiding a secret. He made sure his posture was open and nonthreatening.
