| A carriage could be seen in the air, being pulled by beautiful white horses with large wings, preparing to land on the open grounds.
Eirina stood here, both wanting to meet the new Headmaster of Beauxbaton and avoid the Durmstrang ship, where surely Aries would appear and immediately make Eirina's blood pressure rise. She'd like to avoid that.

| The stamped of a thousand bulls could not even capture how fast Veronica’s heart raced as she sat in the elegant carriage, traversing the skies to another school filled with witches and wizards. The magical carriage that stayed afloat by the powers of the winged-horses did not turn her stomach as much as the rise and fall of laughter among the students of Beauxbaton. It did not matter how big the carriage was, the walls were enchanted with a shrinking solution or so it would seem to Veronica. Every laughed sent the room spinning; the walls enclosed on her as if she was back to where her demons hide. It frightened her beyond words, but no one seemed to notice her plight. She hided it well.
At last they landed sending not only the students sliding back and forth like branches in the wind, but the walls as well. As she emerged with the rest of her peers he heart stopped as suddenly as how fast her heart was racing. Hundreds of fireflies twinkled in uniform distance in the night sky. She held in a gasp marveling at the beauty of the spiraling towers, the dark veneer of the stone slabs. It was certainly not Beauxbaton. Beauxbaton was her bane, one of many follies because it was so immaculate with its white marble, the perfect gardens, boisterous fountains and elegant attire. Beauxbaton was perfect, to perfect in fact for Veronica’s liking. Hogwarts coexisted with the glow of innocence, goodness and light with a dark, almost sinister undertone in the veins of the castle, spreading outwards toward the lake and the forest beyond. A childlike smile spread across her face, dancing all the way up into her eyes.
The only thing that eclipsed the haunting beauty of the castle with the rolling mountains, and majestic forest was the Headmistress of Hogwarts. She was posed as a red rose in full bloom. The light she eradiated was the hues of the rainbow soften by her smile. “Bonsoir, Headmistress,” she said with a simple curtsy. How easily being at Hogwarts coaxed Veronica to speak, when even time is faster than she is to speak a simple word.

| As the carriage came to a stop outside Hogwarts Vincent was very eager to get out on the grounds. Although he loved Beauxbatons he just needed new surroundings and new people for the time being. As the students filled out of the carriage he kept a wide smile on his face. He was just another face in the crowd but not for long. He was going to really enjoy being here even if it was only for a little while.
He wanted to yell out so badly but kept it in. He was glad to finally be here and be able to look around the area. Nothing could possibly make his mood diminish at this point. He looked up at the sky as the sun began to fade slightly and the night came out to claim its rightful place. He pushed his hair back from his face and breathed out a long breath. He then nodded a curt nod at the Headmistress. He could definitely get used to being here.

| Eirina smiled at the group that was now making its way out of the carriage. She smiled and nodded her head in a greeting, to both Veronica and them all.
"Welcome to Hogwarts! Please, do make yourselves at home. I will have my prefects later tonight show you to your rooms. Enjoy your stay, and if you have any questions, just ask around! Everyone here should be very happy to assist."
It was very odd, not seeing Emile. He was always a smiling face with open arms, the friendliest and most kind gentleman that she had ever met. And now he was gone, just like that, out of Eirina's life for good like so many of her friends. The adjustment would be difficult, she knew.

| Temple was up on a tower, looking down at all of the Beauxbaton students that were getting out of the tiny cart. She had her face planted on her chin, a bored expression clearly displayed on her face. She didn't really think much of their arrival. What she really wanted were for the games to start. If only it could just start now, then she would have been happy. She needed the adrenaline, and she definitely didn't feel it watching some prettily dressed kids hop out of a pretty-pony carriage.
From her place on the green grasses, Ella had been mesmerized by the elegance that Beauxbaton brought with them. As they had arrived, her gaze was fixed upon the bored looking Temple, just above her in the tower that she stood in front of, before she could not help but feel the pull of the carriage that stole her gaze. Every detail was beautiful, and very deeply thought out, she could clearly see. Their uniforms were lovely, made of the softest silks, she was sure. Everything about their arrival was perfect, from the carriage that was whisked in by flying creatures, to the perfected appearance of every student. She could still remember her younger years at Hogwarts, when she had first encountered the school and the arrival of the students, and how they had stolen her dreams from her every night in their beauty. A smile sat on Ella's face as she watched Beauxbaton from a short distance, completely captivated.

| Eleonora was standing besides the headmistress as they waited for the Beuxbaton's carriage to arrive. While she had many other things to attend to today she could not pass up the opportunity to see the flying horses she had heard so much about. It was common knowledge that the school traveled by a large carriage flown through the sky by a dozen pristine white winged horses.
She looked up in wonder and childlike glee as the gracefully landed in the training grounds. Her eyes twinkled, mesmerized. Eleonora had never seen this creatures outside of books before and they were more breath taking than she imagined. Their feathery wings caught the sunlight and shone pure white, their large hoofs stomped the ground beneath their feet. Eleonora could even see the cold air form into mist as they breathed through their black snouts. She was immediately in love.
As an after thought, Eleonora tore her eyes from the horses and looked at the students exiting the carriage. They all seemed impossibly beautiful and well mannered. She imagined this was just a show, to make the best impression they could. They were not enough to hold her attention, though, and she turned back towards the large horses.

| A huge smile was plastered on Jett's face as he waited impatiently for Beauxbatons to arrive. He was bundled up against the cold but still took more time than usual in his routine of dressing himself and making himself presentable. It had paid off, as his hair was perfectly ruffled looking as it took no more than a strong breeze to arrange and his scarf carefully disheveled around his neck. His green eyes reflected the sun, sparks dancing in anticipation.
He was hoping to see a few familiar faces in the arriving students. Jett was enjoying his time at Hogwarts greatly but he missed the friends he had made in his five years at Beauxbatons. He let himself believe he would be seeing some today.
His hopes proved fulfilled as the students in their silk robes emerged. Hardly seeming possible his smile grew and changed into one of merriment. "Vincent, salut!" He called as his old friend started to walk towards the castle. Jett was delighted to see him for they had been quite close.

| As Vincent made his way to the castle he heard a familiar voice call his name. He then noticed Jett with a smile on his face. He had been one of his close friends when he went to Beauxbaton.
"Salut! Long time no see." He was happy to see an old friend again. Beauxbaton just wasn't the same anymore. "How is Hogwarts treating you? Do you like it?" As he looked around it did seem quite nice but nothing like Beauxbaton. He just couldn't wait until everything started and he could see everyone together but one person he didn't want to see was Miron. He could do without seeing him.

| Alex watched as the students from Beauxbaton got their first glimpses of Hogwarts. She had heard from her sisters - who had attended Beauxbaton - that all the students there were beautiful, graceful. As she watched them, she decided it must be true. She wondered if she'd make friends with any of them. She hoped so. | |

| Timothy watched absently as the students from Beauxbatons entered Hogwarts. They all had perfect posture, neutral hands, their faces ranged from calm smiling to excitement... Boring. He had hoped for more body language tells, but they were all on their best behaviour. He noticed one Beauxbatons boy talking with a Hogwarts boy. They must have made friends previously. Timothy decided he'd watch for a few more minutes and if nothing happened, he'd leave then. | |

| As the carriage pulled to a stop, Quiane let the others step out first before she quietly descended the steps. The contained excitement her friends showed brought a small smile to her face. While her friends and classmates and acquaintances greeted old friends at Hogwarts, chattered among themselves or simply stood proudly before the welcoming crowd, she contented herself with a brief few moments of just scanning the Hogwarts student body and the castle before turning to calm the horses. They were lovely creatures but may never be broken as common horses. The fire in their nature perfectly reflected Beaxbaton, so how could it be otherwise anyways?
Gliding her hand along the flanks of one of the horses, Quaine took her time to give them some apples she had snuck out from the breakfast table for them. Her friends were used to these moments by now. They dealt with the new head-on with courage and passion. Quiane lingered over the familiar before stealing herself for the unknown. Besides, she had a good view of the brilliant forest when she turned to finally give the horses their apples. It was darker then that which graced their grounds, denser and had more of a... presence that she couldn't put her finger on. Definitely a place to explore once they were all settled in.

| Matthieu leaned out the window on the descent, taking in the majesty of the castle and its grounds. He could hardly wait to get out of the carriage and fly around, exploring all the castle had to offer.
Upon landing, he disembarked with the rest of the students, and listened to everything the headmistress had to say. Then he slipped through the crowd to somewhere along the edge, where he could observe everyone.

| The horses ate up the apples soon enough and Quiane braced herself before turning to face the crowd of students and professors as more then a vague picture that served as a pretty background to feeding the carriage horses. Perhaps if she could find the Care of Magical Creatures professor of Hogwarts, she could try to convince them to tell her where the horses would be kept. Should she need to get away from the castle at any point, looking after the horses would be as good an excuse as any. But no, she firmly told herself, that would be making everyone pictures again in her search. She needed to see the people around her if she were to make new friends - it's wasn't like she didn't want good friends after all.
She stepped away from the horses and looked around properly. Though they did not have the ethereal beauty and magnificence of her fellow students, the Hogwarts students had their own brand of beauty. Where most Beauxbaton students were fairy-like pastels, the Hogwarts students were vivid greens, browns and reds that reminded her of lush fall forests. Many of them were staring in open admiration at the image of the carriage and horses and the soft glow of the Veelas while others just looked bored. So this was how Beauxbaton gained it's reputation: through awe, admiration and boredom. Quiane picked out a few faces here and there that were a nice half-way point between disinterest and the heavy blushes of many. They may be interesting to talk to sometime.
Having had enough of watching people, her mousey brown head looked to her friends. Veronica was a hit as was to be expected while Vincent seemed to be half-way through a reunion with someone oddly familiar looking. She found Matthieu at the edge of the crowd and grinned at him for a moment before looking back at the castle. Quiane took her leave of the Headmaster and dropped into a quick curtsy for the Hogwarts Headmistress before she faded into the Hogwarts crowd, wanting to explore the castle and grounds.

| There was a girl who tended to the winged horses for a minute, Timothy watched as she lingered behind her classmates, then curtsied for Naer, quickly blending into the mass of students. Was that a thing they did at Beauxbatons, curtsying? He might have to stick around, there seemed to be a few interesting students... | |

| The excitement of the tournament, the breath taking beauty of the castle, even the glow of the Headmistress, they all faded away in Veronica’s eyes. Everything cist to exist sooner or later, and it showed into Veronica’s dreamy eyes. She lost interest in the congregation as if they were figments of her imaginations scurrying about in the shadows of her mind. It was as if she herself was a phantom there but not fully corporeal as she glided along the outskirts of the castle wall. She was under her own spell, lost in the enchantment of her own dreams; still holding onto the mystify smile. “You know a dream is like a river Ever changing as it flows And the dreamer's just the vessel That must follow where it goes…”
The rain drops of her words pooled together in perfect harmony. Soft and slow she went forgetting about her troubles past and present. Even the worries of the triwizard tournament nor the absent headmaster did not perturbed her as she waltz her way in the direction of the Whomping Willow.

| Ella watched as the excitement seemed to grow, like a spark into a full fledged fire. It crept into the air and covered the grounds as the Beauxbaton students migrated toward the castle, and some stayed here or there. Others, she had noticed, began to mingle with some of the Hogwarts students, which only left a smile on Ella's face, like a child finding everyone in a game so simply as Hide-and-Go-Seek. The air was fluttering, and Ella breathed in the excitement.
Recalling who she was below though, she looked up once more, catching the face of Temple with a heavy sigh on her lips. Temple was always for excitement, and Ella wasn't so sure as to why she didn't feel it now, the way that Ella currently was. But what she hadn't understood was the addiction. Temple's drive was fueled by addiction, and it was growing hungrier and hungrier like a lion, alone in an empty dessert, surrounded by nothing but the bare sun and miles of sand. Stuck in a place of repetition. Temple needed to go and push the extreme every time now to feel any sort of adrenaline. But that was her addiction, and not something that Ella understood.
"Temple, come down here and join me!"
Ella shouted up to Temple, who lazily shook her head and seemed to force the words out of her mouth, "I have better ways to spend my day, I'll come find you when I need more money!"
Temple smirked as she spoke, loving to be witty. She knew Ella would take it with a grain of salt, as the expression went. Temple was on the look out, actually, and the view from up here was better. She wanted to find someone...not just anyone, but not any person in particular. She was looking for someone to cause trouble with, but no one seemed to hit her quite yet as striking enough. If they were, she's be sure to strike them back.
