| A ship in the distance is seen rising from beneath the waters, entering the Black Lake of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. | |

| The second the boat began to resurface, Miron ran up ahead of everyone else, hooting and hollering at the sight of the big castle. It was bigger than the Durmstrang castle, but there was not quite as much space outdoors. Good thing they weren't staying long. He couldn't wait to see what kind of wimps attended this school though.
"Hello Hogwarts!" He yelled, as though the structure would yell back.

| As the ship broke the surface of the lake in a loud explosion of displaced water, the students of Durmstrang rushed to the deck, eager for a look at their temporary home. Adalrik followed behind, more solemnly. He wasn't particularly eager to arrive, nor was he anxious about the tournament. It simply was the reality of his last year of school.
Adalrik felt the air warm on his exposed skin. It was not as cold here as his homeland and school, the cool winter air felt almost pleasant to him. The light, too, was different. No pale gloom hung over the grounds casting long shadows. The sun was higher in the sky even at this hour than it would be most of the winter at Durmstang. He squinted his eyes in pain at first, waiting for them to adjust.
When he as able to look out over the grounds he was impressed to see the castle of Hogwarts towering above him. The majestic spires and balustrade adorned balconies reached to heights not seen in Durmstrang. Many towers and bridges could be seen, adding to the overall size of the castle. The grounds rolled in gentle hills and a forest off in the distance. It had a regal aura, causing Adalrik to stand up straighter unconsciously.
Adalrik watched as Miron ran ahead and created a spectacle of himself, as usual. He smirked and stepped off the boat to follow his friend. They were getting along today, much to the relief of their fellow travelers. Who knew if the ship would have made it to Hogwarts in one piece of they were at each others throats during the journey.

| Eleanie detached herself from the group on the steps of Hogwarts as they marveled at the carriage of Beauxbaton being pulled by a dozen winged horses. She was not pleased to hear that all three schools were going to be housed under one roof, which was already infuriatingly crowded to begin with. She just wanted to be off, to be alone. She went unnoticed through the thicket of students seeing how they were lost in the awe of what the beheld.
She found herself lost in the lake which reflected like a mirror of the crescent moon. For a time she tossed stones into the water breaking the surface of the lake. It held her interest, but she was never amused by it. It was just something to pass the time before she could retire to her bed chambers. Still the chill in the air felt good on her bare skin, but not the mist of the lake water. A huge boat broke the surface of the lake, sending a wall of mist in ever direction. It wasn't enough to be soaked by the ship, but than one of its passenger broke the silence, screaming like a banshee not five yards away from her.
"Idiots." | |

| Emma had been on her way to the training grounds, where the Beauxbaton students had landed, but the large mass rising from the black lake had appeared much more interesting to her. She done a complete 180, and was now at a run towards the lake. She emerged from the tall grass (as she had literally made a bee-line for the ship) but was taken too far by surprise to redirect herself when she saw Eleanie, and crashed head first into the girl.
Emma hit the ground particularly hard, despite having Eleanie to cushion her fall. It only made her feel all the more guilty as she rolled onto the side, out of the way. "Ack! I'm sorry Eleanie! I didn't see you there!" She grinned in a friendly manner, before turning her sights to the massive ship, and the bunch that were currently getting off. "A lively bunch huh?" Emma was so captivated by the whole scene, that she hadn't even bothered to get up off the ground. Instead, she simply lay there on her stomach, laughing excitedly about how fun this would all be.

| Eleanie’s temper, which was brittle to begin with, crumble with the slightest of bumps. It was as if she was crazed with anger as she did not hesitate to wrap her fingers around the tangled mess Emma called hair. She did not care for her apology or what Emma had to say about the passengers on the foreign ship, all she wanted to do was release her pent up fury and who better than one of the pompous Gryffindors she used to consider a friend. Now Emma was just as foul as the rest of them. Trash is what she is. That is what all of them were to Eleanie. What Eleanie do to trash, dispose of it of course. That is exactly what she did, yanking as hard as she could, she tossed the waste of space to the floor.
Her features were sharp with the heat of anger: the fiery glow in her eyes, the blood red cheeks, and the thin as paper tight lip all expressed her desires to cause as much pain as she can. The only thing that did not betray her feelings were her ice cold voice. “I’m sorry Emma. I’d did not see you there.”

| The lake was fading behind him as Adalrik began to walk towards the castle. Around its edges were expanses of tall grass and reeds that blanketed the ground. As he passed a patch of particular tall foliage his ears picked up the sound of a scuffle and a low moan. He tiled his head in the direction of the sound, his eyes searching for movement. Instead of following his classmates farther towards to the castle Adalrik veered off into the grass.
He pushed aside the plants to reveal two girls, both laying down on the frozen ground. One had a fistful of the other's hair grasped tight in her palm. The girl attempting to hurt the other had a satisfied look on her face, obviously taking pleasure in the pain she was causing. The other girl on the ground looked innocent, but that meant nothing.
"Really? This is how students at the famous Hogwarts act? I hope you're fighting over something worthwhile." Adalrik's words ended in a sneer of derision.

| Emma screeched, caught in the mixture of shock and pain, as a big clump of her hair was taken hold of. "I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" The tears were already a storm in her eyes, and the figure approaching was only a blur as she struggled under Eleanie. She may have heard Eleanie's sharp remark, but only as the same pure rage with which she punished Emma.
She couldn't even hear the Durmstrang student's words, as she moved one hand up to her head, attempting to relieve Eleanie of the clump of hair, and the other hand to fumble for her wand. Just a quick stupefy, and Emma could make a run for it. She felt like a mouse in a trap, and as her heart lurched, she feared for where Rook was. But the little fur ball announced himself, as he popped out of her robe pocket and launched himself at Eleanie's ear. He sunk in his big teeth like he was sinking them into a bit of cheese.

| Miron took a moment longer to take in the view, expecting that when he turned around, his posse of Durmstrang students behind him. But they weren't, not even Adalrik; Miron was insulted, he needed to be the first one to the castle! He caught up with Adalrik, only to stop beside him at the girl fight in front of them. All lining up for him, no doubt- he submitted his well-rehearsed feline sound for good measure, followed by a short laugh. | |

| (OOC: Eleanie is not on the floor. She “accidently” toss Emma to the ground.-L)
Everything unraveled so quickly, it was a surprise that Eleanie could keep up with it all. She yelled out in initial pain when the furry beast latched on to Eleanie’s ear. Her interlace fingers released from the mangy hair of Emma’s not before giving one final pull, tearing several large strands of hair from that thick head of hers, and going straight to her left ear. Another scream escaped as she tear the thing off her ear, it took a piece of her ear with it.
Fresh blood trickled like water down her neck, soaking her robes and the ground below her feet. It hurt, but her yells cist as she would not allow anyone to see her weakness, especially stupid foreigners. She would exact her revenge on them latter. It was Emma, she wanted to see bleed out. The mangy rat in her hands was covered in her blood, making him look crazed with hunger as he struggled to break free of her grip. She only took a glance at it for a second before launching it as far as she could into the frigid lake, hoping it would freeze to death and drown. The sound the rat made was the same sound the pebbles made, a spelunk and never to be seen again. The rat on the other hand bobbed up back to the surface, infuriating Eleanie even more.
“Emma,” she said still dripping blood everywhere. It salted the fresh fall air, mutating it into something foul. “We have three years left together. Don’t think this is the end of it!” Her way to the castle was block by two dimwitted trolls, who stood their gawking at her and the other maggot. Eleanie made a point bumping into both of them as she attempted to make her way to the castle.

| (Yeah, that's totally fine Aiko! ^_^)
A gasp escaped her, as some hair was ripped from her skull. When she looked up and saw Rook, she almost tried to help Eleanie get Rook to let go, but Eleanie tored the little mouse off her ear and threw him before Emma could say two words about it. Emma's eyes grew wide, as she saw the small blur of white soar up into the air, and then inevitably come rocketing back down. What only appeared as a small plop in the water, was like an explosion in Emma's ears.
Emma didn't have time to hear Eleanie's threats nor time to notice the other Gryffindor lend a hand, as she rushed forward, wand in hand towards the shoreline, "I'm coming Rook! Hold on!" She could just imagine the poor guy as he began to drown. As far as she knew, he couldn't even swim! Before long, Emma was swimming in long strides, desperately trying to get to Rook. Her teeth began to chatter the farther she got out, and the more soaked she became.

| Adalrick watched as the scene unfolded before him. The two girls, one no doubt petty and spoiled, the other one barely able to hold herself together, completely ignored his presence. If he had been inclined to help either one out, which he almost had been, the instinct disappeared as they acted as if he didn't exist at all.
A mocking call and laugh to his side made Adalrik turn and face Miron. He was wondering how long it was going to take the other boy to wander back to him. If there was trouble Miron and Adalrik were sure to find it. He gave his friend a small smirk and nodded in the direction of the girl now rushing head first into the lake, trailed by another much younger girl. "Think they'll make it or should we go rescue them?" He didn't really want to get his clothes wet but he wasn't going to sit around and watch a girl drown.
As he was contemplating it the other girl pushed her way past the two boys. Or at least she tried to. They were both much larger than she was. Adalrik moved to the side slightly, giving her the space to slip by. Just as she was passing him, though, he bent down to whisper in her ear.
"You're brave, little kitten," he named her, judging her immature cat fight with the other girl. "But what you just did wasn't really called for, was it?" Adalrik's perverse sense of righteousness was beginning to emerge, ignited by the hurling of a defenseless animal to it's doom.

| Eleanie halted as the foreigner whispered his putrid vile into her unharmed ear. The name was practically revolting to her ears, but she did not rise to his taunts. In fact she turned to him. Her hair, which was soaked in her own blood sprinkled large droplets everywhere, even onto the other idiot who was still laughing. Cruel as she was, she was outnumbered two and a half to one. Even though she was a better witch than all three of them, she knew she was out wand, but it did not stop her from using her words as a weapon.
The foreigner was so close to Eleanie, that she reached out and patted the man’s tummy, still having some baby fat rolls even after puberty. “Sugar plum,” she said returning the favor of giving him a horrid name. “The names L. Got it memorized?” she corrected him, not hesitating to wipe the blood of her hands on his robes.
She turn her stare to the frigid lake, that must almost be close to freezing, she was sure of it. Turning her gaze back to Sugar plum, where she also stated, “You can converse with me and watch two human beings freeze to death, or you can be the little itsy bitsy hero,” Eleanie’s eyes moved her eyes down to the level of Sugar plum’s crotch to drive home her point. “that you are dying to be. It is up to you.”
Eleanie walked away in her own fit of laughter. She knew for a fact that they would choose to save Aiko and Emma. That is why her conscious did not bother her that much as she ascended the hills to the steps of Hogwarts.

| As Adalrik turned to him, Miron listened and looked to where he nodded with acute interest. It didn't seem they were fighting for his affections, so why should he care one way or the other? He knew the motive going on behind the scenes though, in Adalrik's head- that inconvenient little conscience of his was butting in. Miron on the other hand, would have been perfectly fine moving on- it wasn't any of his business, anyways. That's what separated Adalrik and him, and also, what typically got on Miron's nerves the most. But he'd be on his best behavior, for today, at least.
He needed someone to explore the castle with him, and possibly cause some trouble- blame some Hogwarts students. There was a lot on the agenda, too much for him to do by himself. Who better?
His thoughts took a bit of a turn, however, when the puny Hogwarts student shoved her way passed them, clearly trying WAY too hard to get some attention. The exchange between the two, however, planted a cheesy grin on his face. He may not have been listening hardly at all, but he knew body language like he knew what the bottom of his foot looked like. When the girl walked away, he slapped Adalrik on the back, "I think she wants you, man!" He didn't hesitate to laugh now- he didn't even think it was possible for a bore like Adalrik to attract the ladies.

| The Gryffindor that swam ahead of her must have been a fish, having been smaller, and much faster than Emma. She kept herself afloat where she was once she saw the girl reach Rook and start her way back. Emma could feel her muscles beginning to tighten the longer she stayed in the painfully frigid water.
"L-l-l-let's get back to shore!" She called to the girl, being sure the white ball of fur was in her hands. Emma then turned around and started to swim back.

| A low growl sounded from deep within Adalrik's throat as the obnoxious girl started up towards the castle. She was running away, going to hide in the skirts of her professors and school. Self-entitled brat, Adalrik thought. If he caught her again she wouldn't be so brave.
Miron was laughing again besides him, the continuous guffaw grating on Adalrik's nerves. His incessant light hearted attitude got to him sometimes. Miron seemed to take nothing seriously. Today, though, he would ignore it. They had plenty to do and a fight would only detain them.
Far out into the lake the two girls were headed back to shore. The little one was making good progress, her lithe body at home in the water. The one who had her hair ripped, however, was lagging. Her body dipped and sunk as she tried to remain afloat. Adalrik knew he should do something, she looked like she would give out at any moment. Groaning in anticipation of the effort, he turned to Miron.
"Listen, if we help this girl she'll owe us something. Something you might just like." He had to give a reason to convince Miron or else he was sure to walk off without a second thought. Adalrik wanted to appeal to his perverse nature, noting how he had looked at the girl before.
Adalrik walked calmly to the waters edge and removed his shirt and shoes before diving into the cold water. There was no need to get his clothes wet, too. He was going to be cold enough when he got out anyway.

| Adalrik seemed bent on ruining the moment, as he brought up the two Gryffindor girls again. Miron gave a short huff, as he looked to his friend with a bored look on his face. He did think over Adalrik's words though, as a favor from Hogwarts student could come in handy. She may know some nice areas for trapping the kids that got on his nerves which, at this point, might as well have been Adalrik.
Before Miron even had a chance to decide, the guy had moved passed him and towards the shore. Miron rolled his eyes and crossed his arms as he stood at the edge. He wanted nothing to do with that cold water, and Adalrik was plenty a good swimmer for those two. He'd help the girls out when they got to shore, but otherwise, he remained where he was. What irritated Miron the most, was that the longer they spent screwing around out here, the less time they'd have in the castle before the day was over.

| The buzzing noise that Erika had managed to ignore for the most of their trip broke out in the voice of their arrival. The students that had previously been sleeping, or talking quietly in the background, now walked and talked noisily as the ship brought them to shore. Rubbing her eyes of the travel-induced sleepiness, she had lifted herself up from her seat and glanced around her peers; a jumble of furry cloaks and blood-red robes. Miron and Adalrik were nowhere in near sight, which meant they hadn’t bothered to wait for her. The day had been going along quite well in terms of their relationship as well, which in turn gave way to one of Erika’s hateful-bitch-moods. She drifted behind a line of students, her own cloak heavy on her shoulders, her lips lingering at a smile that reflected only irritation.
Erika cast but a glance at the great structure before her; as she got off the ship, the castle of Hogwarts loomed before her, and she might have stopped to admire its structure had she not a reputation to maintain. As it was, she made her way right down to the shore, with some of the other students stopping to make way for her, and some others even reaching out to help her in hopes to gain favour. They never did. Erika was possibly the most popular girl in school, but she kept that popularity mostly to herself. She hung around Miron and Adalrik sometimes, but everyone else was a puppet in her pocket, a step up to her own goals.
She saw them finally, Adalrik in the water and Miron by the shore, arms crossed. She walked to him, casting a critical eye at the scene before cocking her head to one side; the smile that captured her lips made her face prettier but the smile itself did not extend to her eyes. It was perfectly fake, and rather believable. Words one might have expected to follow such a smile were quite the contrary however.
“Why is our dear Adalrik swimming with rats, Miron?”

| (Sorry, I've been so busy, I nearly forgot about this rp! ^^")
As the younger Gryffindor handed Emma her the soaked ball of white fur, she raised him up high in the air, to keep him out of the water. Emma never really did have much experience swimming, and with her top priority being Rook, keeping herself above water hadn't worked out as well. Her head bobbed in and out of the water continuously. She had to keep blinking the water out of her eyes each time the murky depths swallowed her up, and it left everything a wet blur around her. She had never felt so blind- and freezing. Didn't people die that way? Her heart began to race as all her knowledge of the Black Lake flushed through her mind, and her panic began to rise as she thought of what wicked creatures might suck her in. She spun around quickly, when she noticed the sound of licking water getting closer to her, and a large bulky figure loomed over.
She blinked her eyes again and was able to identify a blurry face and hair, giving her some small glimmer of hope. She called out, rather desperately, "I don't think I can swim back!" assuming the rescuer was likely a Professor either from Durmstrang or Hogwarts. Her head sunk down again, and when it came back up, her vision was obscured once more- but she knew he was there, and like any endangered being would, she moved toward him in a slow, one-armed and rather feeble stroke. While one hand was raised high to save her tiny little companion, the other carried her quirky, bent wand, leaving nothing but the thing stick that was her arm to ineffectively cut through chops of water that came lapping over her.
She could feel Rook's cold, wet, and shivering body in her hand, and it gave her the extra bit of motivation to move that she needed to get to him. She closed her eyes each time the water subdued her, swallowing as much air as she could, when she could, until she felt that she had reached him. Though her body was sluggish, and growing tired (she could already feel her muscles beginning to lose strength), her mind raced onward: to the shore, where hopefully she would be helped up the path, through the castle, and up the stairs to the Hospital Wing. Now that she knew someone was there to save her, she felt reassured. It was Rook she was worried about, being much smaller, and more fragile than she.
