Skylar watched as Kaden stood up and took himself out of the conversation. He was sure that he'd go after Eleanie, as Kaden's eyes seemed to speak as such. He had no business of his own between the two, and pretty much everyone stayed out of it, pretended it didn't exist, or, like most, had no idea that it even existed. Sure, Kaden and Eleanie looked similar, but their personalities were so different, and they were on complete opposite ends of the spectrum, that nearly no one ever noticed. Even Skylar hardly had noticed, except for the fact that he was friends with Kaden and often saw situations like this occur, even more often then the rest of Kaden's friends.
Taking Kimbree by the hand, Skylar led her out of the door of the common room. He spoke to her, but he never asked her any questions that would make her want to talk or answer. He didn't want her to panic when she couldn't speak, but he didn't want to leave enough silence for her to only think of the spell placed on her. So instead, he would continue to speak, calmly.
"We'll be going to Professor Reid. I'm not sure if you know, but she's the Head of Ravenclaw. We actually don't have a head of Gryffindor at the moment, I'm not sure why, but Professor Reid is the best one to go to. She also teaches History of Magic, if you've taken one of those classes yet then you may have met her."
Skylar led her down the hall and toward the flight of stairs.
"Her office is on the seventh floor, so we'll be heading up there. Watch your step."
