Living Room

Blaine smiled. "Well pups. Off to the park." He went to the coat rack next to the front door and grabbed Tea and Angel's leashes.

"Are you taking both of them? Don't I get one?" Blaine smiled and hugged Blaire's waist.

Blaine smiled and took Tea from her. He held him in his arms and opened the door to their house. He set Tea down in the grass and let him sniff around.

Lamia apparated in.

She frowned slightly at the tiny specks of mud that crumbled off the sole of her right boot, then shrugged to herself. A housewife has to learn how to clean

She sat on one of the plush couches, examining the room, it was pretty large, with a piano to suit.

"I guess it's fitting for a family woman" she said softly to herself, running her nail along the fabric, absent-mindedly on the thought of little brats and monstrosities running around. Little Blaire's and LIttle...Blaines? running around- Aries would have fun

Lamia smirked and hummed to herself, waiting for the srrival of her friend.

"Preposterous Darling, must have been a stray dog or something" she laughed t the house-elf, yet her eyes were slightly dark, as she was never accused by a house-elf before, well in her household.

However her eyes returned back to normal, as she deigned it unworthy to cause a ruckus over.

She smiled as she took a glass of wine, she swiftly emptied a small sachet of powder which turned the wine a dark purple before fading back to the usual colour.

"Just evaluating the reason why one would want children. Whiny little weaklings they are" she took a sip "I'm guessing you and your man are hoping for some soon?" her eyes questioningly peered over the rim of her wine glass.

Lamia smirked and peeked to her boots, "I'm fine, i think they've started to grow on me" She twirled her foot slightly, examining a small speck of dark red on the heel, with a small frown.

"A year or two..."

Her mind drifted, once more, as she imagined what life would be like in a year...or two. By then, she would have improved herself, further improving her 'collection', enough to even overtake the other DeathEaters who found pleasure in accepting halfbloods, whilst every other bratty Hogwarts student and filthy conceited mudblood ran amok.

Lamia finally returned, and smiled, "Best prepare the cages, you'll never know how useful they'll be" she teased wryly.

"Heated?" she asked, raising an eyebrow, "Everything is but heated for the Deatheaters" she sighed and took a sip of her wine. She frowned, seeing some powder still collected on the bottom, and swirled it again, dissolving it.

She smiled to herself and nodded, to Blaire's reply. All kids were the same

Unlike Blaire, she stretched the amount of time she had spent on her glass. The wine had barely been drunk to the centre.

She swirled it and shone it up to the light.

"Grade 3.6 poison" She mumbled, squinting her eyes slightly at the dark ripples in the wine, the proof that the poison was dissolved. She didn't know which beast it was extracted from, as she never had a way with the creatures in Hogwarts. foul beasts.

She smirked towards the girl "One can make many enemies" she nodded as she lifted the glass in a sort of toast "and it tests the will power"

She took a sip, finally downing the last drop, she frowned slightly at the glass, thinking that she had had more yet to drink.

"So...." she drawled, rolling her eyes towards the blonde, smiling, "Since i haven't been able to officially congratulate you on your wedding, I have" she held out her once empty hand, revealing an intricate silver locket upon her palm"a small belated gift for you" Her smoothness in her actions showed how much experience she had in performing such simple magic to little kids.

Lamia smiled warmly, her eyes twinkled as she held out the locket to the girl.

Lamia smiled towards the girl, "Consider it your very own Mini-Hand Of Glory"

The locket was forever sealed shut yet it rattle slightly with its contents. Acquiring both the locket and the contents proved to be slightly challenging yet she had managed anyway.

"may it unlock any door you come across" Her eyes sparkled strangely as she said this.

Lamia frowned slightly at Blaire's reaction, it was stranger than she had intended. "As i said, a small hand of glory" She shrugged.

It seemed nothing special yet it was what she had made, of the same quality as the ones from Borgin and Burkes, but out of a baby's hand, a murderer's hand, being the cause of its mother's death during childbirth.

Her eyes focused upon Blaire's hand around her own neck, "Why?" her icy blue eyes focused upon the girl's"-What else did you think it was?" she asked, voice devoid of any emotion.

Her eyes softened, no longer hardened by curiousity. She smiled as she twirled her hair lazily around her finger.

"It had developed from the old Muggle tales of witches and robbers who used these to break into houses. I don't know whether these can do the same as Borgin never really specifies everything about his products thus i don't know whether mine would also."

"Just press it between your palms, it's made to only work with your touch" and her child's yet Lmaia wasn't too keen on allowing a brat to hold it.

Nestled between the locket, was a tiny shrivelled hand with a miniscule candle upon each finger.

Some would see it as a measly gift for a wedding present and as something not suited for one s it was a grisly little thing.
