| High-pitched squeals of fright could be heard as the two women appeared. House-elves scurried back to work, tending to the bindings of books.
Lamia plucked up a glass of red wine from a tray of a waiting elf, leaving the other for Aries, despite her doubts that the woman would drink anything other than her own. Her glass was poisoned, but Aries' was clean.
She strode towards an armchair in the corner. Nodding towards the dusty tomes upon the bookshelf in front, "They're here" was all she said. there were a few dozen, all tattered and faded, the words on their spines barely visible in the candlelight.

| *Aries apparated in to Lamia's Manner. It was a dingy Library they apparated into. The dust and dirt that lingered on the books, clogging the air. It was small and cramped, it fit right in with Lamia's personality, and that is no compliment.
Durmstrang was smaller than Hogwarts Library but probably a 20 times bigger than this, filled with dark magic, ancient artifacts and other priceless pieces of history.
Seeing as the house elf came with a glass of red wine, she took it, without giving the House elf a second thought. The wine smelled sweet, but ripe, as if she bought the best wine for herself. With a few words, she found the drink safe to drink, and she took a sip. It was smooth, but bland for her taste, but she was here for other reasons.
As she skimmed through the selves of books Lamia was referring too, she asked.*
"Which books would you think are most promising?"

| She looked up, "The top ones, the oldest thus the ones that are less altered by people's words" like a game of Chinese Whispers she thought, swirling the red liquid around, absent-mindedly, in her glass.

| *Aries used the wand to pull out the first few on the top shelf. The gentle landed on the table and Aries handed Lamia on as she scanned the second, much thicker book. Surprisingly enough half of the spells, incantations, or potions where in other languages, and other hand writings. She slowly flipped through the book, skimming through the pages.* | |

| Sighing, she took out her wand and the book was levitating in front of her, the pages flicking every time she had finished reading them, it contained spells written in Latin, which she had ease in reading, she knew that other grimoires her parents had owned were written in Hebrew and once hieroglyphs. | |
