Receiving Stats and House PointsStats are your ability to perform. Stats can help you in performing tasks, such as using magic as well as your strategic and how well you test. The more stats you have, the more that you can perform. To attain these more of these stats other then what you are given prior, you can do many things. All that are listed below.
Stats
RECRUIT MEMBERS: Recruiting members is a fast way to earn many points, as well as new friends and fellow role-players. When recruiting members, you can receive a wide variety of stat points.
TRAIN/PRACTICE: Although a more time consuming method, training and practicing are both ways to obtain more stats. One form of self-training is to be in the library with a book or two. When posting, you can earn more stats by the following: posting multiple times, having a larger word count, and/or the more books that you study. There are two main ways to physically train, one being self-trained, and the other being trained by a professor.
Self Training Appear in an area, for magical training you are typically found to be outside. When posting, you can earn more stats by the following: posting multiple times, having a larger word count, and/or the more spells that you cast.
Professors’ Training With a professor, you can have individual training. They can train you in specific spells. When training with a professor, you can earn more stats and a better experience. They may also award you House Points, for asking for help and being a good student.
DUELING: Dueling is another way to earn stats. When Dueling, you do not have to kill your opponent or severely weaken them; it can be a simple spar. When dueling with another student, if you ask for a professor to supervise you, you will earn extra stats and possibly a few house points (depending on the professor). Battles also count, such as if you fight with a Death Eater on school campus.
SCHOOL/CLASSES: When attending classes, you will receive stats depending on what you learn. Most classes, if not all, will perform a spell or two and willgive you information on a subject or spell to help you earn more stats. You can also earn more stats by completing homework assignments. These assignments are not necessary, but are very helpful in gaining more intelligence stats. House PointsThe House Cup Winners will receive a wide variety of prizes, from Canon Characters to Customized Signature Pictures.Out of CharacterRECRUIT MEMBERS: Recruiting members is a fast way to earn many points, as well as new friends and fellow role-players. Not to mention, when recruiting members, you can try to recruit to your own house and that member can earn your house points as well. When recruiting members, you will receive 50 House Points that will be awarded to the house of your choice. **ADVERTISING: Advertising is another good way to receive House Points, similar to recruiting members. In advertising, all you have to do it post a link to Hogwarts Reborn, such as on youtube or quizilla. If you can provide proof that you've advertised, your house will gain 20 House Points. If you can talk to people and have them sign up through your advertising, you can gain an additional 50 House Points for recruiting members through your advertising. **COMPETITIONS: Competitions will vary, but they will include things such as writing stories, poetry, videos, and other mediums of art. Competitions will be open to everyone, and myself (Eirina Naer) and two others who have not entered the competition will judge the anonymous artwork. Depending on how many enter, there will be up to 3rd place prizes, all ranging differently in the amount of House Points that can be earned. POSTING: At the end of every month, the top poster of the month (the member who has posted the most between the beginning and the end of the month) will earn 20 House Points. In CharacterASSISTANCE: House points can also be earned by helping about the school. A professor OR Prefect/Head Boy and Girl must acknowledge these tasks though in order to award you House Points for your help. SCHOOL/CLASSES: Most classes, if not all, will allow you and request that you answer a few questions, earning yourself more house points. QUIDDITCH MATCHES and WIZARDING CHESS: During Quidditch matches, students can gain house points through making goals and winning quidditch matches. During Wizarding Chess competitions, individuals can gain house points through winning a game.
