Forest of Dean

*Aries did not notice the panther at all. She could incinerate it, before it could react. She had no fear of the mutt. Her cold eyes were on Lilith, the bone headed, brass girl, who resorted to brute force, like so many others.*

"Have you forgot all I've taught you?"

*Her head turn to the forest, their was not air, as if the forest was holding back its breath, waiting. No distant sound. The Forest of Dean was spell bound.*

"Tracking you, my dear. It was so simple. Not a challenge at all."

*Her face became sad, but it never reach to her eyes.*

"This game was no fun."

"I think you know, my dear."

*The voice was behind her, as if Aries was standing right next to her, whispering in her ear, but she stood right in front of her, elegant, deadly beautiful.*

The truth was, Lilith didn't know why.

was it because of the Cruor incident, the leaving the meeting?

Lilith again winced as she heard the Headmistress so close to her, she took a small shkey breath and shook her head.

"The incident with Cruor Tempest did not go unnoticed."

*A coy smile on her face, knowing she had a hand to play in the downfall of Lilith Dutamoarte. If it was between this child, and keeping Aries secrets hidden. This girl must fall, for Aries survival.*

"They are on to you."

"Care? You are all wrong, my child. Caring is not in my being. I have no use for it. Only power I seek, and she has plenty of power, unlike you, dear."

*she bent down, to exposed ground. A lone flower blossom in the winter months. She plucked, and gentle smelled it. The fragrant filled her being with peace and ease of a better life, a life she once had.*

*As if reading her mind, Aries said.*

"They, the Order is going to find you soon enough."

*Then she kiss the flower, and it as if all life was sucked from it, turn black and death soon in took it.*

*Aries had her where she wanted her. She was playing on her fears, or strife, her lack of knowledge of this dynamic.*

"Cruor got to a long lost friend of hers, who he help cure her, and in return told him everything. That man has powerful friends. Friends now hunting you, and Bulgaria is where they will look first."

*She had a cold twisted smile, as she stood up. Still the flower laid lifeless in her hands. She glided toward Lilith. Now only feets away, she put the dead flower in the girls hair, like a mother doing it for her daughter. But this was a lifeless flower, absent from all beauty.*

"Do not worry your pretty little head, about that, my dear."

*As she started fading away. Dissolving into nothingness, she whisper.*

"I smell death on the Horizon."

*And with that she was gone. The trees started once again to sway in the wind. The woods came to life, and the animals howl once more.*
