Peace and serenity at the edge of the forest...[tag Aiko, OPEN]

Irene smiled wistfully and twisted a strand o hair around her index finger absentmindedly. Today she had finally completed her fire curse that she had learned from an ancient tome she'd found...somewhere. Now that she thought of it, Irene couldn't exactly remember where. Oh dear. Well, best not to worry about it now. Irene blinked her eyes in confusion. Did she just think-? In those words-? Something was definitely wrong with ehr today. She sat up and stretched her arms, then noticed a longer shadow amidst the others along the treeline near the lake. Now what could that be. She drew here wand from her robes then decided to go take a look...

((Seriously Aiko, i apologize for the wait, i was multitasking trying to kill Torvo while typing and posting a new thread. The shadow could be anything, like a rock even and then u come in because i trip over it or something. Whatever u want.))

Aiko was daydreaming on the large beech tree, with her silvery-blue tabby named Silver. She did not like the commonroom at the moment because all of the chattering people. she could feel the breeze tingle her short hair as she hummed a song to herself

Irene frowned at the long shadow. "Whoever's there, if you could please come out now, that owuld be great," and raised her arm, pointing her wand at the mysterious figure cloaked in shadow. What on earth was that? There was another, smaller figure next to it...a pet? Hmm?

Aiko heard someone approach and say something about a wand. Aiko ignored her, but she stopped humming. The new person did not sound like one of those annoying popular idiots. She sounded nice, but anyone could be if they faked it. But she held her wand ready just in case

Irene kept staring into the shadows, waiting ofr a reply. None came, and she sighed with impatience and lit her wand. Lumos. She shone it around, finally resting it on a younger girl who looked bored. She was stroking a nearby cat, a beautiful blue and silver striped one in Ravenclaw's colors. However, Irene very much doubted that this girl was Ravenclaw, she didn't look quite right, and Hufflepuff probably wasn't quite right either. Gryffindor or SLytherin, she decided, and told herself that if the girl wanted Irene to know, she would tell her.

"Hi, my name is Irene, Irene Moore. I was just taking a walk, sorry to bother you. Today's been a long day and..." she yawned..."And yeah."

Aiko clarified that Irene was one of the good guys. she could tell that she was, just by the way she talked and moved. So Aiko slipped down from the tree and said, "hi. my name is Aiko, Aiko Tachibana."
She let her cat sprint away back to the castle.

"Oh, hi, nice to meet you. Erm, did you happen to see that your cat has ran away? It went behind you actually, into the forest. That's probably not the best idea, you see. It might get lost, or eaten by something. WHo knows what lurks inside there?" she pointed dramatically into the depths of the forest, but she really was rather worried about Aiko's cat. She looked up to the sky to see the sun settling behind the horizon.

"We really ought to be getting back to the castle by now. You see, there's a curfew. Then again, you probably knew that. Although if you want to search for your cat, you could probably get permission from a professor to do that. But since it's the Dark Forest, well, you see..." Irene trailed off uncertainly, looking at Aiko.

"...its ok. Silver will be fine. god... what time is it?" said Aiko. She hadnt realized that time was going my fast. and Silver WOULD be fine because she had survived worse.
