The Kitchen

Christof eyes the book, it looked like a diary, but he couldn't be sure. He held out his hand asking to get a better look. "What is this?" he asked.

"Family history." He didn't hand it over, instead carefully opening a page towards the back, using his index and middle finger to keep it open.

First he pointed to a small group of people.

Danika Novario - Dante Novario

Two lines came out from under each of their names, connecting to another name; Vanity Novario.

The thin finger moved up the line, above Danika Novario, he crossed lines, pointing to a different branch of the family tree, shifting it so Christof could read easier.

There, in clear print, was both of his parents names, connecting to Christof Vinzez.

Vanity was silent, only daring to peek up at the teacher, frown still extremely deep.

Christof let his hand drop back on the table and looking over the page several times. "The only way would be..." Christof muttered walking over to the draws in the kitchen searching thruogh them for a pice a parchment. When he found what he was looking for he moved back to the table and spicked his finger with the needle he had used to stitch his wounds. letting several drops of blood fall onto the paper. "Revile(sp)." he said tapping the parchemnt and names started forming starting with Christof and working it's way back and branching. Once it got to a certian point it branched off and then started decending again until it stappoed with Vanity. "A squib line. Grandfather had a sister, she must have been disowned when she showed no magical propeties." Christof said, remembering a scortch mark in the family taprastry, he thought it was an accident as there was only one burn mark, but aparently it was the removal of a name.

Vanity bit his bottom lip. His mother had told him she lived in an adoption agency most of her early life, it made a lot of sense. Plus, his father had moved far away from his parents, once he reached the legal age, never attempting to contact them. He was excited to have another relative, but also extremely nervous. What if he got mad?
"I just...I just thought you should know..." He murmured quietly, pulling his hand back away from the book and setting it in his lap. "...."

"This is deffiantly intresting. I thought I was the last of the Vinzenz line." Christof stated. "The rest have died off, that I am sure of. unless they're form the squib line such as yourself." He added. He wasn't sure where to go from here. "Well, stay here for the night and I will talk to the Headmistress about arrangements. Do you ahve a place of your won you stay at during summer holidays?" He asked.

He nodded his head slowly, though cringed at the thought of staying with his parents. They were both, to put it frankly, not quite right in the head. At one point his father had come home, boasting about his new job as a prostitute. That definitely wasn't something he wanted to deal with again. "And my mother and me are the only two that connect over to your line." He murmured quietly, taking the book away from the other and holding it to his chest. He had always felt protective over it.

He nods in undertanding."Alright I'm going to retire for the evening. Good night." Christof said.

He frowned lightly, then nodded his head, giving a small wave. "...Ah..G'night." He wasn't sure why he had expected a different reaction, excitement, happiness, not being brushed off...

Even moreso, it was way past midnight and Mitchelle had made it fairly clear what would happen if he tried to get in. It seemed the kitchen would be his bed for now.

Vanity watched the man leave, before sighing and folding his arms on the table, nuzzling his face into his forearms. With one last tired sigh, he slipped off into sleep.

Earl apparated in the kitchen, going to the fridge for food

Lacetta walked into the kitchen and sat down on a stool, swinging her legs back and forth, humming to her own queer tune.

Alexandra walked in and sat down, watching the Headmistress.

Earl jogged in, "Headmistress wants you here to eat, so stay!" He said laughing and dancing to a tune in his head on the way back out

Eirina walked in with a smile.

"Okay, so who wants to have fun and make our own pizza and other crazy foods? Or do we want to be boring and just use magic?"

(this would be the equavalent of my character's face "........")
Alexandra watched Earl prance around the kitchen with a mixture of amusement and awkwardness on her face. She privately wondered whether he'd been confundused or something of the sort.

Looking up Lacetta's eyes seemed to glisten. It seemed to her as though little bubble began the float around inside her body, she was absolutely delighted to be able to make their own foods. She spoke with the typical bubbly voice.

"Oh! Making our own foods sounds quite lovely!"

With a lost look on her face Myra walked into the Kitchen following the 'hoots' coming from Alexandra's new tenant.
"I have never been so happy that you're annoying as hell." she said under her breath smiling.

She took a seat next to Alexandra before seeing a boy there too. 'must be the boyfriend...' she thought.

Earl stopped dancing
"You guys are boring" He said, running out then back in with his wand

Eirina looked over at Earl a bit suspiciously.

"Yeah...why are you hyper?"

Alexandra blinked, now completely sure that someone had confundused him to be this way. Earl was never anything more than civil, and NEVER hyper.
She shook her head slightly and Myra's owl fell off her head and landed in her lap. Rolling her eyes, she held the pet and stroked his feathers.

"Whats up with you?" He whispered to Blaire
"No reason no reason, am I not allowed to be a litle hyper once in a while?" he asked, talking a little faster than normal
