Old Friends, New Beginnings (Tag: Giselle)

Madison made her way through the streets of Hogsmeade, walking at a brisk pace with her boots clicking against the ground with each step. She was to meet her old friend Giselle who had been traveling for some time now and only just recently returned to London. Madison wanted to leave her office at Hogwarts as soon as possible, before getting too involved with more paperwork and grading assignments, which resulted in Madison arriving rather early to the tea shop Giselle wanted to meet at. She was glad to have found the shop quite vacant today, save for a few other customers in the room, and though she didn't plan to discuss any Order business out in a public place like this, she was still glad to have a bit more privacy, just in case there was something urgent Giselle needed to discuss.

Madison had known Giselle for years, and also knew of her claim that she was a seer. The history professor didn't invest to much faith in something as obscure as seeing into the future, but Giselle certainly believed it, and had been correct on more than a few predictions in the past. Though Madison still didn't take Giselle's predictions as fact, but she still respected her friend and still took them into consideration at times. She would have to even more so, Madison felt, now that she was to lead the Order.

She took a seat at one of the tables in the back, waving the waitress away and telling her that she was expecting one other person. Now that she thought about it, Madison hadn't mentioned her new leadership in the letter she sent back to Giselle, as it was far too risky to put that sort of information to parchment, but she could clear that up today when she had a chance and there was no risk of being overheard.

Giselle entered the shop and gave a smile and nod to a waitress who greeted her and directed her to the table where she saw Madison had already arrived. She crossed the room and slowly walked up the table with a smile on her face as she spoke, "Madison!" She was so happy to see her old friend and after all her journeys, it felt good to return home, and as Giselle out reached her arms to hug Madison, she felt an immediate sense of calmness and peace overcome her.
