Surrounding Area

The spell whizzed by Luxante and hit a tree, turning it into stone and toppling it, sending a great crash throughout the forest and rumbling the ground, "NICE TRY, VINCENT" He yelled, sending the confringo curse at the ground at Vincent's feet

(He is not vicent, but Leo Wyatt. I know it gets confusing, but I tried to clear that up in the begining)

(Let's pretend he said Leo then ^.^)

Madison's eyes darted back and forth as she tried to keep up with the duel, but then her gaze fell upon the girl in the distance. It would seem that Madison wasn't the only one watching this fight. She watched the girl with such intensity, as though she could strike her at any moment. This was a bad location for a duel. Madison knew how many Death Eaters could be watching at this very moment, but she couldn't reveal herself, not yet. Tyler had been foolish enough not to notice her, and so she would not give up her location. If that girl interrfered though, Madison likely would have no choice.

As the duro spell hitone of the trees, Madison became alarmed and launched herself into another tree, safe from the stone that had come crashing down onto the tree she had been in only moments ago.

Luxante got struck with a few small twigs and some snow and dirt but he ignored it, waving his wand he casted Wingardium Leviosa and lifted up the stone tree that had fallen, then throwing the pieces at Leo.

Calyx continued to watch carefully. Luxante was an excellent dueler, and she had full confidence in him.
She watched the other man studying his moves. 'If there is an opening, I'll take it... I bet I could distract him for a moment and let Luxante get the final hit.' she decided. As Luxante was lifting the stone tree Calyx hid herself in the shadows, waiting for the right moment to strike. 'This shouldnt take too long..' she thought.

'Let me know when the time is right.' She repeated in her head a couple times, hoping Leo would not be too distracted to hear her mind- this was one of the rare occasions when she let down her barriers around her mind, but she had soon put them right back up, just in case. She was rightfully cautious. She had no idea what the witch in the background was capable of, and as of right now, she had nothing occupying her. Madison watched as the girl removed herself and hid in the shadows. She kept note of the girl's location, but with the witch no longer in sight, she was becoming anxious.

(Hehe, with Vincent's Legilimency, communication is actually possible while Maddy's in animagus form. They'd be an awesome team! :D)

Luxante grinned evilly and he concentrated with all his might on the image of a brick wall, putting up a defense that would stop most people, he felt Vincent's mind ramming against his, making him concentrate even harder

He looked Vincent square in the eye, making sure he did not break his concentration because if he did, he knew that it would be his downfall

Calyx saw this as the perfect oppurtunity to strike. "Sectumsempra!!" she qickly moved out of the darkness and aimed her spell towards the arm the man held his wand with.

Madison had been expecting this. Without moving out of the shadows, she transfigured in an instant, and launched a protego spell on Leo.

Luxante saw Madison out of the corner of his eye, giving him a lapse in concentration which allowed Vincent into his mind

(oh fantastic. I have a feeling Calyx is gonna get it later... lol)

His body was paralyzed.It took all his power and concentration to beat against the mind of Luxante. All other things around him turn dull, as if it faded away, and all that matters were bantering down Luxante's walls.

He would be impress, if his life was endanger. Luxante's mind was solid. Ever batter against his wall, he was meet with equal force. All he needed was a distraction, but his voice did not work. He had to keep Luxante busy. He needed one instant of distraction. One moment.

Maddy. Maddy, your clever enough. Please?

He know had him all the secrets was his if he had time.

(You have free roam Luxante to make a memory. A dark secret. anything.)

Luxante did all he knew what to do, launched a furious counter-attack against Vincent's mind, he began stabbing with tendrils of his mind, looking for a weak spot when he released a mental shout, so loud Maddy and Calyx would probably hear it. "NO" He roared with his mind, and resumed the mental attack that would have driven a lesser man insane by now

Madison aparrated to a new hiding spot and sent a confundus charm Tyler's way, then apparrated once again. She would not maintain an obvious location if she could avoid it. The battle commencing between the two wizards' minds sent chills up Madison's spine. As long as they were busy with each other, they couldn't pay attention to their surroundings.

Luxante severed off contact with Vincent's mind and he became a cloud of black smoke, flying through Vincent and becoming a solid human facing Vincent, 30 feet away from his original position
"NO MORE MIND BATTLES, FACE ME LIKE A MAN" Luxante roared, raising up his wand and brandishing it down like a whip, a long trail of fiendfyre behind it, setting the grass on fire between Vincent and himself, some of the fire going toward Vincent himself

Calyx was no longer focusing on the men. She had gone back into the shadows and was looking for the teacher. She had caught sight of her for a moment but she apparated just as quickly as she had arrived.
Calyx disapparated into the trees, carfully landing ona sturdy branch. 'where the hell is she...' Calyx wondered and she continued to search for the woman.

His two patronus jumped in front of Vincent, trying to protect him from the wild fire, but Vincent inside Tyler's mind barely acknowledge the danger. With the distraction Tyler gave he shot, strong and fast into the mind. "You will not get away," Vincent yelled across his mind. It was a mixture of Vincent, Aidan's and Leo's voice, morphing into one booming voice.

(Maddy, I will die if no save me)

"Quit fighting like a woman" Luxante roared back in his mind, apparating to a different location so Vincent would lose contact with his mind. Looking at the beautiful flames he had created in the wide open field, Luxante put his mind shield up again so Vincent could not get in anymore

Madison had returned to her cat form as she waited quietly under some massive tree roots. She could hear the fighting nearby, but she wasn't close enough to watch at the moment. She could sense the intensity in the air drop, and she assumed the battle among minds had ended for the time being. But what was really happening? She knew it was too dangerous to move out of hiding again, but she was nervous leaving Vincent alone for long. She glanced around the forest, and could hear the faint screeches of acromantula in the distance, and her spine shivered, but she was thankful for the shadows of the tree roots.

Calyx looked around, angry that she couldnt find the teacher. SHe disapparated to another tree and began looking around.
She shuddered a bit, hearinf the giant spiders, she hated them.
"come out come out..." she taunted, hoping to either anger the teacher, or make her nervous enough to slip up.
