PERSONALITY: The Little Miss Ray of Sunshine' was the phrase her parents used to describe her, referring to her favourite Mr Men character-Little Miss Sunshine. She was the girl to make everyone happy without trying. Alena is very outgoing and loves to explore and try new things. She’s almost always happy, and it’s very rare for anyone to see a frown on her face. Even if something displeases her, Alena will be the one to turn it around and make something good out of it.

LIKES: Being active, learning, socializing, night-time-exploration, all things sweet

DISLIKES: Exclusion, those who don’t live life to the fullest, pessimism

FEARS: Alena’s fears are limited because she’s willing to try anything without very much reluctance, due to her confined childhood, though she will come to find that she dislikes excessive heights, disliking how close she can get to the sun with less and less protection. It’s more so a fear of displaying her weakness so forwardly, where she’d rather look past it and begin to have as normal of a life as she can have. Alena’s number one fear is total abandonment, where she reflects on her somewhat lonely childhood where she had loving parents, she’d be terrified and devastated to lose it all.

Since a young age, Alena has had a certain illness where she couldn't spend too long outside in the sunlight. When she was young, she would often faint, now she only feels a bit dizzy. Due to this, she has had a lonely childhood, watching the many kids playing outside from her bedroom window.
She was an only child, her parents unable to have children after her yet they loved her to the full. She was home-schooled in her primary years.
One cloudy day, she was playing in her garden, the only place she was allowed to go outside, when she was met by a blonde boy who had fallen through her hedge, many cuts upon his face. For a few months, he was always known as the Boy Who Fell Through the Hedge, until he finally told her his name, Lucien.
However when she was five, Lucien stopped visiting and his family would reveal nothing of his whereabouts. The truth was that he was taken away by Eugene and brought to Hogwarts before he could even confess his liking towards her like a child does its crush.
