030801 Theo’s Marvellous Medicine {Jason, Lacetta, Open}

Jason, after he had already spoken, he looked at the professor Brown. Professor Brown gave him a glare which made Jason a little bit frightened. So he decided to shut his mouth.
The professor left the room.

‘’Finally, he left.’’ Jason mumbled, ‘’Are you ok, T.? You just got scolded pretty badly.’’

Jason smiled.

Theo stood ashen-faced, feeling as if Luke had stuck her; his words and, worse, expression had been more violent than his actions perhaps. Still, it hurt. He hadn't been a professor long, yet he was so serious now, so angry about something that wasn't even that big of a deal. Theo could hardly believe it. There had to be something beside it, that had made him so upset.

She opened her mouth to try one last argument, but no words would come out; and then, too soon, Luke had gone from her sight. It was not fair, she thought. He judged her too harshly. And just a year or so ago he had gone around blasting doors and floors with Misery; one should think an experiment like hers did less damage then that.

"No," Theo said, once she finally found her voice. Her throat felt dry and oddly sore, as if she had been screaming for hours. "No, I'm not okay. "He's old and stupid and I hate him." She couldn't mean it, of course. But at that moment, she wished she could.

Jason didn’t know what to say to make Theo better. He just gave her a comforting smile.

He looked over to Lacetta . “So nurse, what can we do to change her back?’’
