Country Park

(dude. Sparring is OVER. I need to pick up evie =-=")

(I know...I was not sparring just tailing you. Curious where you had to leave to. Sue me for following)

(wow, computer fail three times in a row D:)

Stepping out from the cover the little trees provided, Evie dragged the shrunken trunk after her, glancing around the park. Gogu was still on her shoulder, though dozing off again even as she walked. Her eyes caught a figure and, upon squinting in the direction, Evie realized it was Alexandra. A smile of relief caught her lips, though slight worry as well. Composing herself quickly, she decided she might as well approach. She was, after all, invited.

Hearing footsteps approach Alexandra opened her eyes and saw Evie, her lips spread into a grin of happiness that Evie had shown up.
"Evie!" she ran up to her friend and hugged her, ignoring the fact she had a frog on her shoulder. After a moment or two she stood back slightly worried because her friend looked quite tired. "Are you alright?"

(It froze the first time, then made a strange 'bzztkrkk' sound and wouldn't start the second time, and froze again upon starting fully for the third time Dx It's still not right - dad's looking into it while I've taken it upon myself to claim his laptop for the hour :P)

Surprised by the sudden gesture, Evie barely had the time to suppress a yelp as the girl hugged against her bruises. Swiftly removing a pained grimace from her face, Evie smiled sheepishly at her.
"Oh, I'm fine, just-" she shrugged, not quite prepared to tell she'd flown the entire night just to get away from home. "The, uh- I came here by train and I don't find that the most comfortable place to sleep, you know, what with other people and... everything."

"Thank you so much for inviting me over at yours!"

If Evie is kinda kicked out by her mom, she can stay at Alex's place if Alex finds out)

Alexandra barely noticed the slight wince from Evie but put it down to Evie's story since she didn't know of her friend's previous situation. "You're very welcome, it's fantastic that almost everyone is here now." she smiled but it faded away as she had read the note Cazz had left in the sparring room earlier. "Well. Like I said, almost everyone. So how long can you stay?"

"You could spend the rest of your life at my house and you wouldn't impose for too long." Alexandra replied sincerely. When her parents were alive the house was full of life and people which was why there were so many rooms. But since then, it had become empty without the constant company of friends and family.
She heard the grumbling noise and glanced at Evie's stomach, frowning. "I will feed you." the girl warned. "And make sure that never happens again." she pointed a mock threatening finger at her stomach.
As the flowers began to fall she looked up and tried to find the source of the flowers. She decided that who ever had cast the spell wished them no harm, at this she nodded then turned back to Evie.
"Shall we leave?"

He lean against the tree, hearing some of what they had to say. He seemed content as he watch the pink peddles fall from the sky. He stuck out his hand and one landed in the palm of his hand. 'Complicated' he thought watching the peddle.

Alexandra gently pulled the trunk out of Evie's hand and carried it herself. Her friend looked extremely tired and she made a note to herself to ask the house-elves to give her an extra large breakfast. She fell into step with her fellow student and walked to the gates of her house.

He realize that they were walking back to the grounds of Alexandra's house. He turn back into an eagle and followed, leaving the dancing peddles that rain from the sky behind.

It was spring. It was sunny. Alexandra had a wand, was without wounds, was well-fed and had a decent night's sleep. Right, fair enough, she was still bandaged and walked with a limp but the bandages were confined to her right bicep and her limp was only apparent if she walked for more than ten minutes straight. A combination of resting, walking and healing potions from Diagon Alley had ensured her swift recovery. Speaking of which, she really did need to find Gail sometime to catch up with. Ouriel wouldn't mind to much as Gail was as much his friend as hers now.

She let out a quiet sigh of contentment and sat herself down on a bench. Meeting at the Order could wait a day. Now she could relax a while.

While she wanted to relax, Alexandra did not necessarily want to fall asleep in the sun. On an unlucky day, she had done precisely that and woken up with her face trying to peel itself off her while the rest of her body decided that for the next week acting like everything it touched was acid was normal. Not fun. So she stayed awake and watched the people around her enjoy themselves.

She wasn't particularly paying close attention to who they were though. Wiltshire had always been a safe enough place and so Alexandra was not worried about being attacked or anything of the sort. Besides, she could always apparate to her front door. And so she disregarded the familiar professor and friend nearing her bench.

Odd. That man was walking in circles. As this park generally was not home to the craziness that occasionally leaked out of London, it was more likely that he had no clue as to where on earth he was. As he turned towards her, his face became visible and Alexandra froze in her seat. It seemed that her planned day of resting would not be what she intended. She got up slowly, lingering on the warm oak bench.

"Luke?" she walked towards him with a reasonably steady gait.

The sudden brightening of his face and the joy in his voice combined with eager - though loud and water-logged - steps towards her came as a punch in the gut to Alexandra. This was the first person outside of her own brother who had seen her for the first time in months and accepted her so wholeheartedly and happily. There was no conditions to this outburst of glee and thus what little remained of her anger over his drugging Michelle when they had last spoken vanished.

A grin broke the porcelain mask her face had been just a moment ago. "It's been too long." she briskly stepped towards him to give him a tight hug. Alexandra shouldn't have been surprised by his sweat-soaked shirt but she was and so recoiled from him - disorientated confusion writ all over her. Taking a step back, she looked up at him - as tall as always of course - before asking why on earth he was so goddamn sweaty! It was spring in England after all and not summer in the tropics.

Actually looking at his face, the glasses perched on his nose took her by surprise. They looked pretty good, it gave him an air of maturity that he had not given off the last time she had seen him. Still, it was new.
