Backyard

Large and empty, very simple

Lacetta walked out and smiled at the open land. Walking quietly, she took a seat and looking around, before laying down on the ground and looking again, though upside-down this time. Smiling, she laughed a bit and took in how peaceful it was outside.

Alexandra walked onto the open field from the forest where she'd just been. She stretched her arms as she walked down towards the house again.

Lacetta caught sight of Alexandra. She hadn't met her nor knew very much about her, but she did seem rather nice. Giving a short wave and smile, she looked at her from her upside-down point of view.

She grinned slightly at the girl's enthusiasm and waved back, but made her way to the front yard again.

Reaching for a book, Lacetta pulled out one of her favorites and held it upside-down, seeming to be her preference for everything.

She loved how peaceful it was out here, and was a bit amazed that the Headmistress lived in such a place, but was happy all the same. Curiosity sparked in her eyes at the though of living with Professor Christensen, a beautiful and extremely nice professor as well.

As the wind blew softly through the open backyard, animals could be heard scurrying across the land. The skies played with their own paint, colors of oranges and yellow and swirls of pinks and blues filling the sky.

Lacetta laid the book down and closed her eyes. She wondered what her Gran-Mum must be up to. She missed her dearly, but she knew it was okay. They had left Hogwarts with a reason, though, and sparking a bit of worry erupted in Lacetta's mind. Death Eaters had attacked Hogwarts, and now it is vacant. All of the students had been left in the care of families and professors, something must be going terribly wrong, and it worried Lacetta to think so.

Cazz sat down placing her book beside her as she looked up at the sky.

'Boredom gets the best of me every time.' She rolled over placing the book down in front of her reading what she wanted to learn next.

Stopping in the book she looked at a spell. 'Mhm... Deprimo?' Marking the page she looked threw the rest of the book before turning back to Deprimo.

''DEP-rim-oh.'' Letting the words roll out of her mouth as she read what it was. 'A wind that is very powerful. It can loosen and or soften things. It can also detach things.' Holding up her wand she pointed at a culster of flowers. "Deprimo." The flowers only moving a bit before doing nothing at all.

Looking over at the page again. 'Image your self push the wind out of your wand and make sure you say the words correctly or the spell will not go the way you want it.'

Standing up she pointed her wand at the flowers. "dep-rim-oh." Watching the wind become a little more powerful, but not the result she wanted.

'Come on its not that hard.'

"Deprimo!" She shouted at the flower making the move the same way as before. Ranking a hand threw her hair she looked at the flowers again. "You will move out of the ground flowers!" Holding her wand steadily at the taunting flowers.

"Deprimo!" She watched as the flowers moved more one flying up in to the air.

"Dammit!" She pointed her dark colored wand at them again. "Deprimo." Leafs started to shake a little as the flowers were up rooted out of there home.

Cazz looked at the flowers a bit sad before gathering them up and putting them back where they were. 'All better.'

Looking down at her book she picked it up and taking it back inside with her.

Alexandra walked across the field and into the forest, looking back occassionally to make sure no one was following. With a book and her wand in hand, she wanted to practise some spells with Ouriel there today.

Lacetta happily walked over to a tree on the far end on the property and climbed up to the first stable branch. She hung on it from her legs upside-down, a horrible habbit of hers and bgean to study from her Herbology textbook.

Alexandra closed her eyes and concentrated on the form she wanted. She grew taller and her legs and arms changed so that she had to walk on all fours, her skin grew feathers, her lips morphed into a beak and she transformed into a hippogriff within seconds.
She stretched out her legs and waited for Cazz.

Cazz walked out staring. "What. The. Fuck."

Alexandra internally shook with silent laughter that the griffin couldn't produce. She bent down so that Cazz could get on her back.

She got on carefully. "Holy fuck holy fuck! This is like some thing."

She shook her body slightly, making sure that Cazz was holding on properly. Once she was satisfied that Cazz was secure enough, she reared and spread her wings swiftly, then lept into the air and flew to the ministry.

She landed on the field and transformed back as she set Cazz down.

Alexandra walked out with her bags in miniature form and tucked in her jeans. She typically wore layers when flying so that she'd be warm enough when she landed and transformed back, but time was of the essence at the moment.
She changed into her typical long-distance falcon form and took off.
