Front View

Michelle walked up to the front door and turned towards the two of them.
"Well, this is my house. Only rules are no breaking anything or, don't turn into a tornado and mess up everything in the house, alright?" She paused, thinking, and then added,
"Oh, you'll have to excuse me if my family comes to visit. They do that alot." She turned back and opened the door for them.
"You can go pick your rooms and stuff, dinner will be in a bit."

Lacetta looked up at the house in shock, it was nothing compared to her house back home. Nodding her head with enthusiasm, she smiled gratefully.

"Okay, thank-you so much Professor!"

Vanity all but collapsed at the front steps. Lack of sleep, the earlier fighting and having to lug around the heavy trunk totally wore him out. He leaned against the trunk, then slumped to the ground, feet aching. "Ya know...I think I'm just going to sleep out here for a bit." He grumbled, not wanting to walk anymore.

Lacetta turned to the boy with a small smile, putting her own luggage down and aside.

"If you don't mind, I could help you if you'd rather?"

Vanity shifted, then folded his arms under his head legs propping up on the luggage. "Nah, the stars are a nice view~" He grins over to him, for once not actually being rude, creepy or just weird. "You can join me, if you want."

Michelle raises an eyebrow at him.
"My security is very high. If it senses anything outside after midnight, most likely it will zap you. I strongly advice you to go pick a room."
Sighing, she pulled out a wand and flicked it towards the luggage; it flew up and hovered near Vanity, ready to follow him. She also did the same for Lacetta's.
Michelle smiled at Lacetta graciously.
"No problem, Miss Detenae. Go have fun, I'll call you all in a bit."

Lacetta gives a small laugh and nods her head. She wasn't sure what to think of Vanity, but from what she had seen, ignoring the fight, he appeared to be a nice kid, and to her more-so normal then the others. She was happy to be offered to join him, and was rather excited when she replied.

"If you don't mind it sounds rather lovely."

Pausing in her thought, she looked over at Professor Christensen.
"Oh, thank-you again! Being zapped may not be the fondest of ideas, but I'm sure we'll be in before midnight."

Michelle nodded and smiled at them before walking into the house.

Vanity grunted as the luggage was lifted, his feet falling to the ground with a small thud. "I was just gettin' comfortable." He murmurs, letting out a tiny yawn and shifting again. "The grass is softer, but this is less itchy." He murmurs idly, staring at the sky for a few minutes, before turning his head to face the girl.

"I'm Van."

He held his hand out for the girl to shake.

Reaching her hand out as well she softly shook hands.

"I'm Lacetta, it's a pleasure to meet you!" Looking up at the sky, she gave a few moments before turning back to the boy, who she found to be handsome and darling, as she did most of the students who attended Hogwarts. She found it a bit strange that all of the students appeared this way, but rather let it slide off her shoulder.

"Why don't you tell me about yourself?"

He yawned again, stretching his legs out for a moment, before staring up at the sky, trying to find any constellations. "There's a lot of stuff about me, anything in particular you want to know?"

Lacetta sat down gently and stared at the sky, wondering how the universe could possibly be turned and twisted.

"There's loads to know about everyone and everything, and plenty of the unknown. There's nothing in particular, everything's rather interesting to me."

She smiled, not taking her eyes off of the sky for a minute.

"That totally didn't answer my question." He laughed quietly and rolled over onto his side, propping his head up with his arm, eyebrows raised into thin arches. "Ask a question, just a general topic and I'll answer. Its hard to go off of "just say anything", ya know?"
His toe poked out of a hole in his ratted shoes, playing with the rough material the outside was made out of.

Lacetta smiled a bit.

"But I don't think questions are meant to be fully answered! There's always something else there."
Tilting her head a bit she stared into space, having no idea what to ask. She did her best, but really she rarely talked to anyone and never found the question to be of great importance.

"...I'm no good at this though. The best question I can think of is your favorite colour, and that's very little as is?"

"Purple!" He replied without hesitation, pointing to his dark byzantium colored hair, jostled every which way and clipped out of his eyes. "It's so colorful and there are so many shades of it! Neon is pretty cool, but that would be a stupid hair color. I've always wanted a neon purple sign that said - VANITY THE GREAT - but that sounds expensive. Wouldn't it be cool if the sky was purple? Man, I would love that! Blue is so boring, everything seems to be blue, the ocean, the sky, people's eyes - it gets old, but purple, now, purple isn't a color that's often seen in nature, occasionally on leaves and on fruits, but even that isn't purple more...More halaya ube, ya know? But to have something legitimately purple! Aboslutely beautiful~" He sighed happily, breath a bit heavier after his tiny rant.

Lacetta smiled and laughed. She was happy to hear every word that Vanity had spoken. She thought that he was right in so many ways, but also loved his enthusiasm. She had asked a simple question, and yet she recieved a world of answers.

"Purple is a lovely colour, I do like silver, though you rarely find anything that's truly silver and has that lifting, air-bound feel."

Smiling to herself she couldn't help but wonder a bit more about Vanity, if he was simply a tad queer like her, or even possibly gay, though she'd never pose either ideas incase she'd offend him.

"What do you like to do? In your spare time and such?"

(Dinner as soon as I take off my contacts and etc. etc. etc. >.<)

"Silver is pretty at times...but two much of it seems, egh, cold." He commented, frowning. "Like those futuristic movies where everything is white and chrome and stuff and there's no dirt and it just seems lonely."

He rubbed his nose and rolled, so he could lay on his back again.

"Spare time? I don't have much of it...." He laughed quietly, eyes shutting again. "I'm a busy, busy man, you know. No time, no time - always too busy getting punched in the face to be hassled with this 'free time'."

Lacetta looked over towards him, a bit confused and curious.

"A busy man? But you're only a kid. It seems rather daft to be getting into such fights, and a terrible thing too. Why do you seem to enjoy it?"

"DIINNNEEERRR'SSSS SEEEERRRVVVEEEEDDDD!" The voice went echoing through the house.

He shrugged his shoulders up, giving a small laugh. "Because he had a problem with me to begin with and I highly doubted he was going to be nice to me, so, if we're not going to be friends, then I'm content with fighting." He paused, thinking it over. "not to mention, it's extremely fun - I mean, did you see the look on his face?"

He blinked, hearing the call and looking to the doors.
"Oh! Food! Yay!" He grinned happily, hopping up.

She only smiled and nodded her head, hearing that dinner was served she happily stood, walking into the kitchen.

He followed after her, sniffing the air lightly, checking to see if he could smell anything.
