| McBride, appearing as his canine self, sat on the stump of a tree that fell down long ago, staring off the coast and pondering where to go. It had been years since he left Hogwarts and up to this point he's been aimlessly wandering across Europe. He set out with a goal years ago and despite his initial lust, he knew not where to start. His tail flicked in anger as his thoughts traversed back to his lack of effort in the past years. It's time he picked up where he left, possibly going to Diagon Alley, or elsewhere in the Wizarding World to restart his journey. He just didn't know how to begin. | |

| (popping in! :P)
Somerset had easily become one of Gail's favorite places to visit during her time off from Madam Puddifoot's shop in Hogsmeade. Somerset had plenty to offer; favorable weather, friendly people, and even a beach- there was especially a nice spot on the shore a bit of ways from the town, where it was nice and quaint, and hardly anyone frequented. That's where Gail found herself today, on this foggy morning, her favorite type of weather. She strolled down the beach, with her hands stuffed deep into her coat pockets, admiring the water stretching into the horizon before her.
She slowed her pace as she caught a canine figure admiring the same view ahead. Upon further observation, it was clear to her that it was not an ordinary canine, but that of the wilds: a proud wolf. She smiled at the sight of him, feeling closely bonded with wolves due to her own nature (she was firm in reminding herself that it was not an affliction). She stopped several feet away from the beast, waiting for it to acknowledge her presence and know that she was no threat. As the wind changed direction, however, she noticed that the scent rolling off his fur coat wasn't quite what she expected. It was more of a... humanly smell. Was he friendly with people, or was there something more to it than that?

Upon the arrival of the woman, Gendan immediately became weary. Long years in the wild taught him patience and caution. At first glance he couldn't tell whether this was witch or muggle. He was unsure what to do. He hadn't spent much time around humans in the past few years and despite his hatred for muggles, he didn't want to reveal himself quite yet. He chose to play the part of a wolf tossed out of its pack - which is how he felt - and shrank down a bit, ready to sprint away at a moments notice.
When the wind changed back in his direction though, he caught a familiar scent. Something animalistic that most witches/wizards don't have, and definitely no muggle. Cocking his head like a dog hearing his name called, Gendan sniffed at the scent more, trying to place it. He knew he smelled it before but he couldn't recall when. Although he was still struggling to make sense of this newcomer, one fact did dawn on him; this was a witch. The first witch/wizard he's met in the past two years.

| (No problem! I've been needing an rp as of late xD)
As Gail expected from any animal worth his salts, the wolf appeared to have sense who and what precisely she was- it had to be instincts, warning them of possible danger, or maybe cuing in on a fellow forest-walker. Cats definitely never seemed to like her, for obvious reasons (cats hated anything that was bigger trouble than them), but wolves were tougher than that- she knew from experience, or, well, werewolf experience. She didn't see too much of a difference between the two. The wolf on the other hand, still didn't seem to sure about her, and to prove that she wasn't a threat, Gail slowly bent down to his level. "A bit far from the forest aren't you? Or do you live in the mountains?" She smiled as she watched the canine, not entirely expecting any kind of answer.

| McBride could tell she wasn't a threat at this point but he was still unsure as to what he should do. Part of him thought he should revert to his human form, but as an illegal animagus he thought better of the idea. He had to play the part of a wolf from the mountains. He cocked his head to one side as she spoke and perked his ears. Trying not to overplay the part though, he also crouched down on the log, tail immobile. Not aggressive but certainly not friendly. | |

| (Sorry for the long wait, my muse has been suffering tremendously lately! ^^)
Gail watched the wolf carefully before finally, she settled on a smile again and said, "I guess I shouldn't go trusting strangers so much either." She shrugged as she looked down at the shoreline with a look of minor contemplation. She was rather friendly to anyone she crossed, but was that such a bad thing? With how she'd been raised the only inkling she had of it being an abnormality was based on how others reacted to her. Then again maybe it wasn't so much as weird, but more so rare; hardly anyone seemed to be able to trust anybody these days.
She gave a frown, wishing for the world to just go back to its peaceful ways again, so that everyone could live without being afraid to step outside their front door. But such matters didn't concern the likes of a wolf. She gave a shrug, as though perhaps the wolf may have understood her silent thoughts, and said, "Yeah I don't blame you. Strangers aren't the best company." Nor werewolves for that matter, she thought. Gail then sat down in the cool sand, and crossed her legs, looking to the wolf curiously once again. There were just so many possibilities for a wolf to find himself way out here, and not in his natural habitat.

| (It's all good. I'm RPing in Deja Vu as well now  take your time responding, this really has no end-goal for the RP, just open and for funsies) As the witch sat down in the sand, Gendan cocked his head curiously and stepped off the stump, warily watching the witch. He walked within a few feet of her and started lapping some water out of a small shallow nearby, every few seconds lifting his head to peer at her before resuming his drink. Everything seemed so surreal. This was his first run-in to another human being in quite some time and instead of being aggressive and lunging at her, he actually is being wary. Maybe his time in the wild did teach him patience. Either way, he wouldn't attack the witch, she believes him to be a true wolf and may, while speaking aloud, mention something to give him an idea as to where to go in the Wizarding World. | |

| The distinctive snap made by someone Apparating echoed through the air. The source of it was a beautiful woman, wearing wearid spectacles. She started by looking around with furor, oblivously hoping to find something.
"It should be here... I don't understand...", she said, sighing with disappointment.
She looked at the witch and the wolf and frowned, as was usuall with this type of whether for her. She had a staff by her side, slightly emanating vestigial magic from the recent Apparition spell. She walked towards the two, clearing her throat to make her presence be noticed.
"Hello?", she said in a sweet, yet stern, and even rigid, voice.

| Gendan propped his head up and stared at the newcomer. Immediately he jumped backwards off the stump and crouched down. What was happening, was this new witch here to help the other capture him? Have they found out who he was!? He continually looked back and forth between the two, waiting to see what would happen next. | |

| She looked at the wolf with a cold as the winter, moodless look. Her gut told her that the animal wasn't normal... She started wondering if it had any magical propreties... She reached forward with her hand, calling to him "Here boy... C'mere"
(Do Veela powers affect Animagus while they're in animal form?)

| McBride began growling and backing away from both witches, head held down near the sand, ready to pounce or sprint away at a moments notice. He didn't like this sudden turn of events. Maybe it would be better to just return to the forest he knew so well. He wasn't sure yet though. First he needed to see how this transpires, maybe this was no more than an unlucky turn of events. The witches may not even know each other. | |

| She looked at the witch with a distrustful face, as was usual when she was moody. "Hello... Is this wolf yours? Do you know that all possibly dangerous animals with magical capabilities should be contained?", she said everything as she was laying down knowledge that she had memorized, which to a criminal would be a dead-giveaway that she worked at the ministry or was involved with it.
She looked around again, still looking for the thing she was after, frowning.

| Gail seemed to have been wrapped up in her own thoughts so long, that she only now realized another visitor had joined them on the beach. The thought of a wolf being considered a pet made the young witch snort, as she replied, "Wild animals aren't pets!" Gail didn't really seemed to process the rest of the jumbled words the woman said, as she turned to face her, standing up as she did so, "And he doesn't look magical to me, but its not like I asked him or anything." She glanced over at the wolf with a grin. | |

| Gendan remained transfixed on the two witches, ears laid back. He was thinking it would be time to duck out soon but he wanted some information about the wizarding world. He flicked his tail and crouched back a little more, almost sitting but still ready to pounce away at a moments notice. | |

| The frowned face turned to the witch again with a quick snap, despise filling the witches eyes "Wild animals are as much a pet as a house cat... It depends on the owner." Her look turned to the animal and she squinted her eyes... She was sure he was not your everyday wolf, but she had no way to prove it, and even if she did, it was not her department. And yet again, her face turned to the witch "Have you seen any magical disturbances in the area? Maybe something out of place... A chariot from the XIV century or a caveman from the ancient past?" | |

| "No... well the wolf sure, but I maybe he got booted from his pack- the mountains and the forest aren't far from here." She offered a smile towards the wolf, hoping this wasn't the case, but she understood the nature of the wilds above all else. She turned back to the woman, "Any reason your looking for a chariot in a place like this miss...?" When Gail realized she didn't know this woman's name, she also realized she hadn't introduced herself- such a silly absent-minded brain she had! "My name's Gail, by the way." She flashed a grin as she extended a friendly hand. | |
