"I don't remember it having stairs... But I'm not sure. I think there was a basement... But I don't know", she seemed to be having a hard time remembering.
"Also, there's a lot of open sky so you can bring Taylor along. I'm sure he'd love it!"

"Well, we'll deal with whatever happens." Jackson shrugged, grinning. Nothing could get in the way of his good mood, going to visit a cabin with his new friend over summer holiday! He'd listened to books where in cabins the beds were up a ladder, but even if that happened he'd just sleep on the couch or floor or something.

"That's the spirit!" Ruby got up and stretched her legs and back. "Man, I can't wait for summer now!"

"I'll have to write to my mum tonight. Will your grandma be okay with it? Will she want to meet my mum or anything?" Jackson was so excited, he wanted to start planning everything now, but knew that that was kind of impossible.

"My godmother? I guess I should tell her. It might be best if they meet. Despite me living alone, she will want to know who I go with during summer vacation. Especially if I'm going back to visit my old home."

"There's owls in the owlery you can use to send a letter to her." Jackson couldn't stop grinning. It sounded like this was actually really going to happen. Hopefully Ruby's godmother wouldn't be all weird about him being blind.

"I'll go write a letter then! Want to meet up in the Great Hall afterwards?"

"Sounds ace, see you there!" Jackson grinned and reentered the Hufflepuff dormitories.
