PERSONALITY: Mavis’ personality is… uncommon, at best. Although she can be quite loyal to her friends, usually putting their lives ahead of her own,she can also be quite cruel when she’s betrayed, being capable of both torture and murder. On a sunny day, she’s normally seen smiling and whistling, or humming a song. On a rainy day she’s quite moody and humorless. She also has a strange addiction to orange juice, carrying a small handbag with loads of orange juice bottles inside (thanks to a undetectable extension spell on the bag.

LIKES: Orange Juice. Her friends. Traveling.

DISLIKES: Mandrakes.

FEARS: Mistletoe.

Mavis was born in a small forest in southern France. Her father was a traveling wizard that fell under the charms of a Veela named Marie. However, despite the love his father had for her mother, his love for traveling was bigger, and he left when on Mavis’ 1st birthday. During the next 10 years of her life, Mavis learned to control her Veela powers, but unfortunetly for her mother, Mavis also inherited her father’s need to travel. Once Mavis reached 17 years of age, she bid her mother goodbye and went away to see the world. For the following 8 years she kept moving from country to country, making friends, learning new cultures and local spells. Whilst in India, she met an old wand manufacter, who as a token of their friendship, made a staff especially for her. On another journey to the deep caves on an island in the Azores Archipelago she found a broken time-turner, which she keeps as a good luck trinket. She’s reached England about 5 years ago and finally found a place to settle in. She’s currently under the employment of the Ministry of Magic in the Department of Mysteries.
