Unwanted Reunion(Miron)

With all of the excitement from the Triwizard Tournament Vincent needed some well deserved space. He was tired of pretending with some people so he did the only thing he could do. Get away from it all by heading to the Courtyard he noticed when he was surveying the grounds. He knew it would be a good place to take a breather and that no one would bother his peace while he was there. He was sure that no one had seen him leave the group so he knew he had time to collect himself before he had to return to his friends. He racked his fingers through his hair and let out a long sigh. Sometimes trying to be something your not could be very exhausting but he knew all he needed was time to collect himself and he would be able to handle it again just as before.

In the crowd of people on the way in, Miron had quickly lost track of Adalrik, and wound up outside his measly attention span leading him elsewhere, which now appeared to be a courtyard. He glanced around as his feet led him to wherever he would end up at the end of the road.

He had his hands behind his head, as he headed around the corner and spotted the all too familiar head of curly brown hair. He had already started laughing before he even managed to make a proper entrance, "Vince, buddy! I was wondering if I might see you!" As he walked up, he made a point to ruffle up Vincent's hair, "Still got that girly-man hair, I see."

Out of all people it Had to be Miron. Vincent thought to himself as he heard the all too familiar voice. He had tried his best to to stay clear of his path but he knew that at some point he was going to run into him. Vincent knew that Miron would start picking on him the second he saw him and it slightly angered him when he did. He slapped his hand away from his hair slightly annoyed.

"Hello to you too Miron." He always hated seeing Miron at family gatherings. He always found a way to pick on him and it made him sick. "Why are you out here anyway?" He thought he would be in the Great Hall messing with someone or whatever else he found himself doing for fun.

"I'm here to see my sweet little cuz', you know? I've just missed him so much." He laughed, unaffected as his hand was smacked away. The more Vince reacted, the more Miron wanted to pester him. He just wanted to remind him who the big bad dog in town was.

"So, you entering the tournament?" He chuckled, "What if we both got picked? That'd be fun wouldn't it? I can see it now," He put his hands up, like framing a perfect picture, "Vincey, beat by the strong, dashing Miron!" He laughed loudly, giving his cousin a quick prod, "You are entering, right? I mean, who wouldn't, you know?"

Vincent shook his head. Some things never change. He knew that nothing was going to change Miron. He knew that nothing was going to stop Miron from pestering him. He had learned that years ago.

"Of course im entering. Who would pass this up?" He completly ignored his second comment. Vincent knew that sure Miron was slightly stronger than him and was very skilled but he knew that he had just as much chance as Miron did at winning. Miron underestimated his skills and never gave him credit for anything. Something was going to change and somehow he was going to prove to Miron that he was just as good as him.

"Wusses?" It was likely a rhetorical question, but Miron answered it anyways, always wanting the last say in any conversation, especially where Vincent was involved. Though Vincent said otherwise, Miron didn't think he would have entered at all, if Miron hadn't just talked about it. But Miron never thought much of Vincent anyways, even when they were kids. It was probably cause he was oldest, and had no younger siblings to pick on, so he treated Vince the way he would treat his nonexistant brother. Course if he had a brother, he'd probably be much better looking, and maybe even less of a bother.

"Not that you would be picked anyways. That Goblet's just saving you the embarrassment of going to the dance without a date!" He laughed again, thinking he really should write this stuff down. Later maybe.

Vincent was slightly irritated that Miron chose to answer his rhetorical question but left it alone. Miron always had something to say. He always knew exactly what to say to make him get angry. He knew that he shouldn't let his words get to him but it could be hard sometimes. He choose to ignore his stupid statements.

"I could get a date. What about you? Who would go with you?" Vincent had seen him get rejected a few times throughout the years and knew that not every girl would be thrilled to go out with him.

"Whatever hot stuff is lucky enough to be picked, little man." He thought it was a stupid question, but he wouldn't take offense by it. Any chick who didn't want him was no chick for him. It happened so little that Miron felt no problem with it, it only meant that there were a few crazy people in the world, rather than a lot.

"You'll seen soon enough anyways." He added, before he gave his cousin a quick shove before making his way back inside, "See ya later Vince!"

Vincent scoffed after he saw his cousin leaving. "You'll see soon enough anyways" He mocked Miron. He disliked him so much. He had no idea why he picked on him but it made him mad. One day he would stand up to him he just didn't know when.
