It's Not Trouble if You're Not Caught (Tag: Lucien)

The Divination's classroom had been out of use for months, and as far as Dein knew, the Professor that once taught the class was long gone. Late in the evening, and hour or so passed curfew, Dein made his way inside. It was easy enough getting into the classroom, seeing as how it was not closed off by any complicated magic. In fact, all it took was a quick, nonverbal Alohomora, and he was inside. His footsteps were light, but not silent as he crossed the room, examining the peculiar objects decorating the room. Though Dein cared little for Divinations itself, he had a suspicion that there could be some interesting trinkets lying around, just waiting to be claimed.

He knew he'd find something interesting in here, and he was indeed correct. Given the ways of Divination, it was only natural that the items in her would be something one would expect to be personal objects from the teacher. And he found what he was looking for; a mirror. A long, wide mirror near the door of the respected Divination Professor's office. He folded his hands neatly behind him as he stared deeply into his reflection, waiting.

A smirk arose from his deep contemplation, as he did see Lucien's reflection, but also a double. The double was more faded, and more ghostly, but it was clear both faces were the same. This mirror was a Foe-Glass; exactly what Dein had been hoping for. It was only a mere guess that the previous professor would have been the paranoid sort.

Whether or not Lucien had noticed the Foe-Glass doing its work, Dein turned to face him, wearing a cleverly pleased expression. He took a moment to look over the boy before turning back to the mirror, "Can I help you?"

Dein could tell that Lucien had not come in from the front door. He'd gotten to the classroom before Dein. Why he even bothered revealing himself, however, Dein could not guess.

"Isn't it passed yours?" He said in a mock tone. "Or are you just afraid of sleeping in your own dormitory?" Dein smirked as he turned once again to the boy, this time turning his back on the mirror. As Dein's reflection still remained on the glass, shadows stirred on all sides. In the eyes of an object such as this, Mr. Edrins had many enemies. Lucien's face was the only one that remained clear in the mirror, both his actual reflection and the one the Foe-Glass showed.

"I don't believe in that nonsense." Dein replied calmly, though he continued gazing into the mirror, knowing the boy would carry on with what he had to say anyway. He must have appeared foolish, saying he didn't believe in Divination, and yet, he stood here, in this room, of his own accord. But he hadn't come here looking to see his own future. He came to study, this mirror, so he would know how it worked once he acquired his own.

Slowly he turned his gaze to Lucien's reflection, as he waited for the boy's so-called 'prediction'. No doubt he would try and anger the Slytherin prefect, but Dein would react appropriately if that were the case.

For a moment, it didn't seem like Dein would react; probably because he was so shocked by Lucien's guts. But then, as the boy's word cut through, the red-hot anger flourished onto his face, and as he turned to face the rat, his wand slipped through his sleeve, sending the crystal ball crashing through the window.

Dein crossed the room in an instance, lifting Lucien up off his chair by the scruff of his robe. His wand was to the Slytherin's throat. "Shut your trap, you worthless filth!"

He stood, staring Lucien in the eye for several long moments, before he added more clearly, "I don't know what you think you're talking about, but I don't like your tone mudblood." Then he released the boy, roughly shoving him away, back towards his chair.

Dein's gaze followed Lucien as he circled around. Neither of the Slytherin's were letting their guard down tonight. The mudblood thought he was above Dein, the way he prattled on, thinking he had Dein's rage wrapped around his silly finger. Dein wasn't going to let Lucien have his way.

He smirked, as he slowly raised his wand, taking his duel stance. He was going to make Lucien eat his own words. Oh yes, Dein was angry, but not out of control. He was completely in control of his emotions. "You think I'm a fool, don't you? When I'm done with you, you'll be the one the nurse is caring for."

He spotted a table located behind Lucien, and fired a stupefy. Knowing the mudblood would be ready to counter this, he took this opportunity to Accio the table, sending it flying towards Lucien from behind.

Dein shielded his face from the blast with his arm, but the force still caused him to stumble back a few paces. As he recovered, he looked to the door that lead out of the classroom, and locked it with a spell, then, he glanced around the room, towards the source of Lucien's voice.

Dein wasn't a fool. And he had no interest in dueling this out with Lucien. He looked down at the carpets on across the floor, and with a swift flick, summoned a small flame that instantly grew as it fed off the materials of the room.

"Are you certain you want to continue?" Dein asked with a smirk as he looked Lucien's way.

"Bombarda!" Dein exclaimed, fully aware that such a spell would be harmful, and more importantly loud. He used it as a shield, however, to destroy all the projectiles at once, while he skirted safely back behind a pillar in the room.

He took one deep breath... two...

"Well that was pathetic." His voice boomed through the room, as he held his wand to his throat. It echoed, leaving it difficult to trace the source. Dein peered around the column to look towards the last place he'd thought Lucien to be.

A table flew up from the floor and smashed into bits against the ceiling. Then another, not too far from it, getting closer and closer to Lucien's hiding place, "Where on earth could you be hiding Lucien? I want to show you a new spell I've cooked up," his voice reverberated across the walls. Meanwhile, Dein was weaving across the room from the shadows.
