PERSONALITY: Lore (LO-rə) is a very collective "by the book" person. Entirely she tends to think before she acts before jumping into an unknown situation. She has the tendency to use a series of mental deductions to figure out a situation or solve a problem, viewing problems as puzzles or like a game of chess.

Lore in a way has a rather curious mind, she's always looking for ways to expand her intellectual level; whether it be solving puzzles or reading stacks upon stacks of books. As clever and quick witted as she may seem, Lore tends to get a little stubborn and single minded when certain situations don't go accordingly to plan or to her favor.

Lore usually or tries not to get angry; she is prone to occasional snarky sarcastic flares of annoyance but never full blown rage (She's technically passive aggressive). In all honesty, she would rather avoid as many conflicts as possible with other students and retreat back into the Ravenclaw dormitories or library.


LIKES: Lore loves peaches. Her favorite snack is peaches or anything sweet; just in general she loves to eat peaches. Since she has a natural child-like curiosity she is almost always exercising her mind by reading books, or solving puzzles.

DISLIKES: She hates being uninformed or degraded by another student. She also hates it when another student or a close friend points out the fact that she over analyzes certain situations, to the point she stresses herself out.

FEARS: As a child, Lore ended up wondering too far and "slipped" on river rocks and fell into the river. Luckily her parents were near by to save her, but till this day she still cannot swim.

Lore doesn't necessarily have a fear for water itself, she just cannot swim to save her life and not knowing how is her biggest fear. Like if she were near a deep body of water she would get an uneasy feeling or stay clear of it all together. But, in a pool or any body of water that only went up to 2ft-4ft, she would be fine...deeper than that, she would probably just stay away from it.

But her biggest fear is not living up to her father's expectations. Lore greatly admires her father and strives to follow in his foot steps. Lore gets really depressed when she doesn't achieve a personal goal she had set for herself (She has pretty high standards that she sets for herself).

Dieter, Lore's father, was a well renowned German Auror who was assigned to protect a muggle family, who's son (Lore's mother's brother) became a wizard and apparently stirred up some trouble with a few death eaters. Now, the family was put under constant watch because they were being targeted due to their son's foolishness. This is where Dieter met Roseline (Lore's mom).

Roseline was muggle, older sister of her brother Christoph, who apparently angered the death eaters. At that time Roseline was currently studying to be a nurse when she first set eyes on Dieter---it certainly wasn't your typical love at first sight relationship (Not that she had anything against magic folk). It was more of "I HATE YOU! STOP BEING SO STUBBORN!" relationship.

The two obviously didn't get along, and would constantly be at each other's necks. Roseline didn't quite understand that she had a price on her head and would always try to evade Dieter's line of sight. Till one day she eventually was caught by a Death Eater. With sheer luck Dieter was there to save her and apprehend the Death Eater. Form then on Roseline found new respect for Dieter. One thing led to another and when the threat on Roseline's family died down, they ended up marrying eachother.

Lore Alarise Schiffer was born to Dieter Alaric Schiffer and Roseline Leona Schiffer. They live in the German state of Baden-Wüttenberg, near the edge of the black forest. As a child Lore was always fascinated with folklore, dark and fantacy stories, given the fact that the authors of the stories like Snow White and Hansel and Gretel drew their inspiration from the Black Forest.

Although Lore had quite a normal childhood, she was pretty much sheltered for the rest of her life after she nearly drowned in the Rhine River. Of course as a 6 year old she was pretty much oblivious to what really happened.

When the family took vacation to Rhineland Germany, they would always spent their summer at their summer home in Rhineland by the Rhine river. Exploring the river one day, Lore heard something beckoning her towards the river's edge. Unknowingly entranced by a siren who recently had been drowning halfblood and muggle children earlier that year.

Dieter thought the Ministry of Magic had taken care of the problem as soon as the drownings happened. He was wrong. When Lore was close enough to the river's edge the siren grabbed her and began to pull her under. Roseline and Dieter notice instantly and took action, both diving in after their child. Roseline was able to reach Lore before the siren pulled her deeper and brought her to safety as her husband took care of the rest.

In the end the whole family ended up unharmed, maybe with a few minor scratches and bruises, but over all unharmed. In turn Lore's parents felt it was best to keep the incident a secret, telling her that she had slipped on some rocks and fell into the river. From then on Lore was under the ever watchful eye of her parents.

By the time Lore turned 11 she was fully aware of her magical abilities (thanks to her father). She was then sent a welcome letter from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Her parents were both proud of her and they helped her prepare for her new life at Hogwarts.

Nothing much really happened in her first four years at Hogwarts. Not that she cared, she was more interested in her studies to take part in social activities. Her goal is to be an Auror like her father, and to be one, she believes hard work and focus on her studies would help her achieve her goal.
