Even Though They Weren't So Great

Eirina sauntered through Knockturn Alley, having been told that the school was in need of some poisons and potions for the growing pests both outside and inside the castle. Eirina said that she'd do it, volunteered. She didn't have anything better to do this week. With the students all at Beauxbatons, she figured she could escape, even if it was just for a fleeting moment. For a boring reason, too, but it was nice to get some fresh air.

She wasn't a fan of being in Knockturn Alley, with all the leering faces of those older then her. Bigger then her. But she had her wand, so that's all that really mattered. And they couldn't touch her. So there wasn't any point to be paranoid. Right?

Eirina was now uncomfortable, but she held her breath and stuck her chin up high. She was too prideful to show it, and she should know better! She could kick their asses, she knew. She had so much more power, there was no reason to be this paranoid. None.

"What in the world?" Martha Lake screech, as a vendor in the streets pulled out a shabby necklace to show her. She was so offended by the little trinket, not even good enough for her dog to wear, she smacked his hand away, and moved one.

Martha had a nasty habbit of getting what she wants. She will be vicious when she has too, spreading rumors, to have a tantrum until her daddy buys what she wants. She was the perfects Daddy's little girl. Until this day too, she made her rich father buy her own modeling salon, making her an instant model that bought her way into the business.

Moving to another Vendor, she retracted just a bit, because of a wrecking odor. "Ew," she grimace, not wanting to get near the vendor. "Take a bath you slime ball half breed. Your disgusting to look at, freak." Still set in her Hogwarts ways, as she ages she became more spoiled, like milk.

Going to Knockturn alley, she was more comfortable here than most people. this is where she lives out her sadistic desires, cursing rival models with bejeweled jeweler. Turning away from the stand, she saw down the alley a timid woman. Not timid exactly but not as eased as she was walking down Knockturn alley. "Oh. My god is that shy whinny Eirina?"

"Whinny?"

Eirina turned, her eyebrows lifted and puzzled. She wasn't whinny, hell she never talked to the other Slytherins. They just made fun of her, and she was better then them. Or at least that's what she told herself, now. She didn't think that then, just that she was misplaced, she was put into the wrong house on accident.

The blonde hair bobbed in her eyes, and that was all that Eirina noticed for a good while. Then she saw her face. Martha. Ughh, how she couldn't stand that girl sometimes. She was greedy, and snobby. Eirina couldn't stand having to sleep in the same room as that girl. She was the reason Eirina would have to leave the common room and dorm room, just to get away from her, and flee to the library or someplace quiet.

"Martha..." She spoke, not with disgust, but with uneasiness.

"Oh you remember me, I feel loved."

Even though it was not a complement, it went straight to her already inflated head and ego. Martha loves to be memorable, even by a low commoner like Eirina. She could not help but fixed her pink prada bag back on her shoulders, and lift up her Dulce and gabbana sunglasses to get a better look at her old classmate.

"I guess you saw my cover page in Glamour last month. Yah. I was gorgeous."

The many thing that has not change, is the love of talking about herself. oh how other girls are envious of her beauty. She loves herself so much, she wish she could marry herself.

"Oh...come on. Yes, Whinny. The only timed you talk was when you snapped at other people. You so uptight. I on the other hand..."

She went on about herself, and how she was generous to the common people. As she went on and on none stop for several minutes, her pompous ignorant attitude shine through.

"Uh, no. I don't read those magazines. They're for the illiterate, and weak minded."

Eirina made the remark with a sarcastic twinge in her voice, her attitude starting to emerge. This girl was so full of herself. Was that all she thought about? She was even disillusioned with her self-proclaimed greatness. Eirina rolled her eyes and shook her head. How old was she? She was acting like one of Eirina's students, still like a 14 year old girl. She hadn't changed a bit. How sad.

"You, on the other hand, are self absorbed. And everything that you speak of is only self proclaimed. There are no real awards out there in your name, because you have no achievements that actually meant anything, to wizards or most other beings for that matter."

"Well I guess you don't get out much. By the look of your clothes I think I am correct." Martha's eyes shifted up and down what Eirina's was wearing.

Her fake plastic smile vanished, as Eirina cut her off. "Um?" she started off, taking a loose strand of hair, and place it behind her left ear. "Was that suppose to be offensive?" Martha was the biggest ditch you could ever find. Things just went over her head, but it did not phase her...much. "I thought I would be nice, and give you the rare opportunity to talk to one of the worlds famous models. I guess you don't see what a rare opportunity I am giving you."

"Or maybe you're giving yourself an opportunity, seeing that you're speaking with the Headmistress at Hogwarts. But I guess you're too caught up with the falsehoods of beauty being power to notice anything but the mirror. When was the last time you pulled out your wand, besides to fix your wrinkles?"

Eirina watched, waiting for Martha's reaction. It was clear that Eirina was getting sick of her attitude rather quickly. But Eirina was always easy to make snap, her personality able to change with the flick of a switch. Martha was no exception to this rule, with her flaunting of herself, and her inability to speak of anything that was truly conversational. The girl had no brain.

" Oh? Your in charge of the school now? I did not know. I guess you couldn't find anything prestigious and classy. You got stuck with babysitting duties." she had a sad look on her face. A sympathetic look. It was not a false look for her, she actually had pity for her. "I guess not everyone else is cut out to be in the lime light, like me."

That wand comment smacked her in the face suddenly. In school she was never the A students. Her grades were barely passing, and she scrounge for acceptable, and a few exceeding expectations. But did not mean she lacked any skills, she was fairly good at making few key potions like the inhibition potion, or a love potion.

Her constant happy persona was being tested by Eirina, and it was not looking good in Martha's favor. "why you being such a grouch, I only came to talk to you because you look so unease here."
