| Seung Pyo's office was a mixture of luxurious mahogany hard wood desk, and black leather seats, but with a modern twist. With also floor to ceiling glass paneling, like the Grand Foyer it brought in natural light. Also, his purchase of Piet Mondrian, a De Stijl painting, hangs in this very office.

| The double doors open to Choi's office, revealing the afternoon sun streaming through the huge glass windows. At first the air was thick and smug, catching him off guard. His next breath caught in his throat, but as he settle down his his leather chair, behind the huge mahogany desk, he got use to it.
"Sir," Chief secretary Woo said, announcing himself, seeing as Choi's eyes were close. "What do you want us to do about replacing Ms. Plat?" he asked in Korean.
"Well-" Seung Pyo sat up lazily as if his thoughts were weighing him down. Another worthless person, he thought to himself, remembering the horrific noises she was making. He had no pain of sympathy for the woman. If she could not hack it raising a child, and coming to work, like any other woman in this day an age, than how would she survive all the criticisms people through at you when your name raises in certain circles. "we have a fundraiser Concert this weekend, so the Orchestra has to make do without another flute."
Chief Secretary Woo stood in front of President Choi's desk. His face was stoic and unreadable, and his body was stiff with respect. President Choi offer up a chair to Woo, but he shock his head, waving the notion of sitting down. "Send a letter out not only through the newspapers in Great Britain, and Europe." Seung Pyo sat there thinking about the lack of talented he was finding through these last few years alone. He wanted to have the number 1 Concert Hall in the world, but with substandard musicians, he had little faith in the survival of this Concert Hall, let alone being the number 1.
A night in Mahoutokoro came to mind, with bands, and soloist huddle together performing there works of art for the whole school to see. Most were so uninspiring, but some had that raw natural talent, with the right teacher, like greatness that is Seung Pyo, could become something special.
"Also advertise in the Daily Prophet."
Woo was never really surprised by most things, but this? Shock was written all over Woo's face. Seung Pyo rarely talked about the magical side of his duel identity. Recovering from the lapse in composure, he said, "Yes. Of course, Sir. I will handle it myself." Secretary Woo bowed, than retreated from the office, closing the double doors behind him.
Now, Seung Pyo was alone. The thoughts of magic school, he could not help but reach into his pocket, and idle roll over his wand between his two fingers.

| The world went on outside as President Choi looked on from his second floor office window. The streets were once again being bulldoze to clear the snow from the night before. This morning the clouds were sparse in the grey skies, giving faint morning sunlight a chance to shine through the clouds. President Choi did not notice the post card of a scene outside his window, even though he was standing a foot away from the window. His thoughts were somewhere else in the either and could not be bothered by trivial matters such as these. He did not even notice that he was twirling his cherry wood wand between his fingers.
The only thing that pulled him back into the world of reality was a sharp knock at the door. Choi took a deep breath, releasing the early morning drowsiness before stating in a clear voice, "Yes? Come in." He did not even attempt to turn around as the door soundlessly open. He already knew who it was.
"Young Master?" As suspected it was his Chief Secretary, Woo, coming to give his daily constitutional, what ever may be president that day. Only when the Secretary stood beside him looking out the window as well, did President Choi turn slightly to address Woo, "Yes? What is it?" But Woo said nothing, but seeing in the reflection of the glass, Choi's wand. Realizing what his secretary was staring at, he quickly withdrew his wand. Even though the Chief knew about magic, he still enforce the laws that govern magic be strictly held, the utmost important law in and of itself, the International Statute of Wizarding Secrecy act of 1689. "Continue, Please." Both Choi and Woo said nothing more about the wand incident any further.
"Yes, Young Master," Secretary Woo nodded in agreement. "The Charity Committee wants to know if you have made a decision about the replacement of Ms. Plat?"
"Who?" he asked, not out of ignorance, but of his waning thoughts on other matters.
"The flutist, you released last month," he clarified to the President. Now, Seung Pyo remembered who she was. The young woman with the child, and the abysmal skills in music. Woo continue to say, "The Charity Board wants to compel you to act on this quickly, so they can get started finalizing the Spring Music Festival."
More like implore, than compel, he thought to himself, as he rubbed his stiff neck.

| President Choi turn his back to the window, and the winter morning, to sit in his oversize leather chair, behind the rich mahogany desk. On the desk had two neat stacks, one that dealt with matters of the HoengJae Concert Hall that needed his attention, for instance the monthly paychecks, the reordering of the tiger lilies, and other matters that cost money, and his time. The other stack was books and other materials for his classes at the University of London. With his time divided between school, his business, and the board of directors for the foundation, he had not an active social life, compared to back home at Seoul. But somehow he manages it, and still have time to pluck the 'fruits' of his labor.
Secretary Woo also took a seat across from him on the other side of the desk. He was waiting for an answer, which Choi had none to give. Instead he put forth his own question. "Being present at the auditions, what does Micheal Ellington and you, Mr. Woo believe who is best candidate for the position?"
Secretary looked unease in his posture, but other than that his feature were still unreadable at least to Seung Pyo. "Mr. Ellington has informed me that he believes Kimeko Tanaka would be an excellent addition to the name of HoengJae Orchestra, but sources told me that Ms. Tanaka had dinner with Mr. Ellington the night before."
Seung Pyo was not surprised by this. Kimeko was insidious and manipulative till the end. If he had not known her personally and more or less intimately she would have gotten the job. At first sight she can be more charming than a Veela, leading you into a Lions Den. "And what of you?"

| "I see," President Choi said, understanding his reasoning even though Secretary Woo gave none. Milo Slip and Aimee Mitchelle were both equally talented when it came to their respectable Instruments. Not on pare with his skills, but as equal those he hired. Even though Milo Slip came in street rags and look like a common beggar, he had an air of respect, and passion in those fingers as he strung his bow. That is one of the reasons why Secretary Woo chose him over her.
The other reason that Woo did not state out loud, by Seung Pyo read between the lines, was that Ms. Mitchelle and President Choi would be at odds every step of the way through the process. Woo could not bare to see HoenJae Concert Hall, Seung Pyo's mother's legacy be disgrace.
But ultimately it was Seung Pyo's decision. Gathering up all the information he needed, he took the three folders that were stack neatly on the desk and open the middle one. With a pen at hand, he sign his John Hancock at the bottom of the page. "Tell the board of directors I have made my decision." Seung Pyo gave up possession of the three folders and handed them to Woo.
Cheif Secretary Woo stood up, taking the three foldiers, before bowing. "And what of the Employee?" he asked, knowing Seung Pyo had something in mind already.
He shock his head. "I will handle it. Please have someone bring the car around, and..." Seung Pyo reached into his inside jacket pocket pulling out a fold envelope that he handed to his Secretary. "Please have this done immediately."
Woo bowed out of respect once again, and said, "As you wish," before leaving President Choi's office.
