Event- Antisocial Mary at a bar (open)

Mary downed another shot at her corner booth, hiding in the shadows in her black leather jacket. If people couldn't see her, they couldn't bother her. Most stayed away from the frizzy-haired woman with the evil eye, and those who didn't left quick enough. Luckily her waiter wasn't pushy about conversation.

Cazz walked in glasses perched on her nose, her black heals clicking softly against the bar floor as he knee length dress swayed the brown trench coat covering up most of this except her heals. A smile on her face just enjoy what the world had to offer this fine evening. She just closed up her music story for the night having to deal with one last customer that seemed to stay all day looking for the perfect vintage Gravity album. Cazz had the prefect life. Seeing Mary she slowly made her way over to her taking her time smile still on her face as she got closer wrapping arms around the women before kissing her on the cheek.
"Hey, Mary." She spoke softly not to startle the already paranoid women.

Mary watched her girlfriend walk over, not moving. To stand up and greet Cazz would draw others' attention.
"Hey." Mary matched Cazz's volume. She glanced around. No one was paying them much attention.

Sitting in the chair next to Mary she pulled it a bit closer crossing her legs the blue dress falling neatly over her knees. Slowly pushing her glasses up she leaned a bit closer elbow now on the bar as she looked at Mary a smile gracing her pale pink lips.
"How has your day been?"
The waiter came over taking her order of a grape drink before slowly leaving. Cazz was never really one to drink it made her somewhat sick when she did so she only left it for special times.

Mary shrugged. She had a part-time job stocking shelves at an out-of-the-way little market, and hardly talked all day. Most of the customers and other staff probably considered her mentally challenged. She didn't care, as long as they left her alone.

When she was delivered her drink she took a small sip not liking the amount of sugar in it at the moment. Leaning on her elbow she nodded at Mary's responds fully understand how days like that went or so she thought.
With her other hand she slowly drew into the table of the bar looking down. "I was thinking maybe would could do something tonight love, like maybe a movie?"

"Mhmm." She murmured. As long as Cazz bought the tickets and snacks and no-one talked to her, it would be nice. A few hours to zone out, not have to worry about people talking to her or anything. Then hopefully she could go home. And no-one would come calling.

Taking another drink of the grape leaning a little back in her chair watching her carefully not really sure of Mary at the moment not sure if the women was really interested in watching a movie. But Cazz was never sure with Mary that is why she liked her so much she played so hard to get.
"Did you have a long day?"

"All days are 24 hours." She muttered. Stress made time seem mutable, but it always trudged along, second after second, hour after hour, day after day after day. Her eyes swept the bar again, looking out for anyone they might know who would stop by to chat.

(People need to post. It's boring having Mary be antisocial at her GF.)

Cazz rolled her eyes, Mary knew damn well what she meant but ever time with out a beat missed she would say the same thing.
Running a hand through her hair lightly while pushing up her glasses up on her nose giving out a small sigh.
"You know what I mean."

A small smile quirked at the corner of her mouth for a second.
"Normal day. No-one at work bothered me. Customers didn't ask for help. People here ignore the shadowy corners. Waiter doesn't want to talk." She shrugged and downed a shot in two swallows. "Pretty good day, in retrospect."

"Have you tried talking to others? You know people are not all creepers or asshats you know." Picking up the glass she brought it up to her lips taking another drink thinking rationally not everyone was a bad guy or wanted to kill you or slender man. No there were some nice people in the world you just have to find them sometimes.

"I don't need to talk to people. I don't care if they're nice, I'm fine not knowing them." She didn't want to know about other people's lives, and they didn't need to know about hers. It had taken Cazz years of unassuming persistence to get this close to Mary.

Letting it slide she gave a small shrug nothing she tried would work though that was fine with her.
"Alright alright. I'll stop bitching about it for tonight." Taking another small drink she set the glass down carefully trying to make much of a sound. Cazz thought about another topic twisting a finger around her hair as she thought.
"Have you found the ghost in your apartment yet or is it the people above?"

(Bahahaha slenderman reference FTW)

"Just because I haven't found a ghost doesn't mean it's the people above." She pointed out. "That being said, I very highly doubt it's a ghost. Likely a boggart in one of my hollow books or pixies or something simple like that. Possibly a poltergeist." A poltergeist would be the most hassle to remove. Or upstairs neighbors, those are hard to remove, as well.

" Hey I am not saying you haven't found it yet... Ya just never know." She laughed a little into her hand before giving a small shake of her hair. "You know you could just try to out poltergeist the poltergeist or ya know get a priest in there. I know a few good ones."

"It's not too annoying yet. I'll wait it out. Hoping it'll get bored of me not responding." She took another shot and ordered something she could sip. "I'll start going through my hollow books for a boggart."

" You know your a bit on the paranoid side right?" Cazz moved some hair off her shoulder looking behind her in the bar. It was not a busy night it looked almost dead in here a few people here or there. Looking for a moment longer she spotted a clock nodding slightly understanding why. 'The drunks don't come out until ten.'

"Just playing it safe. And it's not paranoia if there really are people after you. I'd rather not take the chance." She watched Cazz look around. "Yes, it's very nearly deserted. The after work drinkers have left and the partiers have yet to arrive. Most folks are eating dinner about now."
She accepted her drink from the waiter and tried to sip from the straw without looking at it. (You know you've done it.) Her lips and tongue danced with the straw in a frenzied manner for a second before she gave up and put her head on the table. Please please PLEASE don't let anyone be looking.

Cazz held a hand over her mouth laughing quietly while she watched Mary try to catch the straw in her mouth and of course not getting. Shaking her head ever so slightly she placed a hand on her shoulder giving it a small pat.
"Better luck next time."

"Are people staring?" She asked. She could understand Cazz laughing. She must have looked like a complete idiot.

Cazz took a slow look around seeing someone staring at the two from across the bar but not really taking any mind to it.

"Yeah some stranger..."

Wrapping a finger around a lose strand of hair she watched Mary interested if she would freak out or not.

Mary kept her head down. Cazz could play with her hair if she wanted. Whoever was looking at her needed to mind their own business. Didn't they realize the woman in black in the shadowy corner booth wanted privacy?

Cazz laughed a little getting a little closer to her placing a hand on her back slowly drawing small circles into her back.
"I was kidding. No one is watching you that I can see."
