Greenhouse

Blaire walked into her greenhouse with a book under her arm. She closed the door behind her and set the book down on the nearest table and she pulled her hair up into a pony-tail. She glanced around and smiled. Some of the plants in there were really starting to blossom nicely. She went over to where she had regular herbs planted and smelled her sage and smiled. She went back over to her book and opened it flipping through the pages. She looked at the book and then looked at one of the more rarer plants that Blaire had 'acquired' from someone and checked the plants progress as she referenced back to the book. She nodded and smiled.

"It's doing well." Blaire murmured pulling a list out of her pocket. She then pulled out her wand and tapped it to a water can and it started to water all the plants that needed it and then she went over to her flower garden section. She saw the daises, tulips, roses, and other flowers coming up nicely. Blaire pulled up a purple rose and smiled as she sniffed it.

"Smells wonderful..." Blaire murmured as she ran her fingers along the stem. She accidentally pricked her finger on one of the thorns and she sighed. One of the drawbacks about roses. They had thorns. She sucked on her finger lightly before taking the rose to her book and laid it in the crease before walking back around checking everything.

Blaine walked into the greenhouse. "How's my favorite little green thumb." He walked over to Blaire with a glass of iced tea. He smiled at her as he grabbed her hand and kissed her thumb. "Well, I guess she is one hundred percent better." Blaine chuckled and took a sip of her tea.

Blaire laughed and smiled.

"I'm doing fine! Hey give me my tea please!" Blaire laughed holding out her hand for the glass.

Blaine smiled and took another, slow sip then handed it to her.

Blaire laughed and smiled. She took it gladly and sipped at it.

"Look at my roses," Blaire smiled. She went over to her book and lifted it up and smelled it. She smiled and then tapped the water can that was floating in the air. It gently floated to the ground.

"I'm thinking about trying to grow a blue rose. It would be pretty wouldn't it?" Blaire asked laughing smiling. She looked up at Blaine and smiled thinking how lucky she was to have someone like him by her side. There was a time in her life that she had felt lost after someone's certain death and she didn't think that she would ever be normal again. She was thankful that she had been wrong.

Blaine smiled at her and smelled the roses as well. He looked at her and smiled. "A blue rose would be beautiful."

"Wouldn't it?" Blaire laughed. She then set the rose back into her book and smiled up at Blaine as she turned around.

"So what are you doing out here?" Blaire asked.

"I came to make sure you hadn't died of heat stroke or something. You've been out here for a while... Well that and I had to let the dogs out." Blaine smiled and leaned against one of the counters. He sighed and rubbed his face.

Blaire nodded and then smiled. She glanced up to Blaine.

"What's wrong?" Blaire asked.

Blaine shook his head. "Nothing, just kinda tired... And bored."

Blaire frowned and went over to him and then smiled as an idea popped up into her head. She took his hands and laced her fingers.

"Why don't we go inside and snuggle up with a movie in the basement and pig out on some popcorn and some soda?" Blaire asked smiling. She was bouncing on the balls of her feet lightly. She didn't know why but she was very hyper at the moment.

Blaine smiled and kissed her lightly. "That's sounds great, beautiful." He put his arm around her waist and led her from the greenhouse.

"I'm smart." Blaire smiled as she kissed him back smiling as they walked out of the greenhouse.

Blaine smiled and walked through the back door, calling the dogs in as well.

Blaire smiled up at Blaine.

"I'm going to go down to the basement while you get the pups in." Blaire said kissing him on the cheek lightly before going to the basement.

Blaine nodded. "Alright, meet ya down there." He grabbed the leashes and to tackle the dogs, almost literally, to get the leashes on them. He led them inside and closed the door then let them loose.
