| Alexandra was expressionless as she could be in this situation. Even so, if you looked into her eyes, disappointment and sadness was easily viewable. The last thing Timothy had said made it clear to her what had happened. Healing some of the earlier damage rather than making it's bite worse. It was no secret in the Order that Madison had a shady past in some ways, but the mere fact that even Timothy admitted Madison tried to hide her passion for Dark Arts re-affirmed her belief of what Madison was dealing with before such a close encounter. By being so close to the Dark Arts, it was difficult not to succumb to powers far more easily obtained than... 'White' magic should we say. The reason was that there were dire consequences to using the Dark Arts, thus their name. Madison knew the flip-sides of the coin and had to remember what could happen if she danced to closely with the Dark Arts.
And she hadn't killed Timothy. Knowing that Vincent and Ouriel were masters at Legimancy, Madison was still willing to stand before the judgement of Michelle, Vincent, Ouriel and herself. A relieved smile graced her features. Even if Madison thought it was a close call, Alexandra thought more of it than that.
"Good work Professor Reid." she murmured as she lifted Timothy's body into the air with a flick of her wand. Ouriel stalked over to the man's wand and grabbed the handle then shrunk and darted back into her cloak.

| Madison glanced to her former student with what could only be surprised as shock. At first she stared at Alexandra, seeing the smile on the girl's face, until she finally looked away, unable to contain a smirk, "Professor?" Alexandra didn't need words or explanations of anything at all. Could her own personal judgement on Madison have been so generous? In this case, Madison decided it would be better to just enjoy the grace, rather then put too much thought into it. This mission had meant far more than Madison could have possibly imagined. She'd never found any kindness that compared to Alexandra's and Michelle's. They were the two who seemed to trust her most, even in the most dire of times, when Madison didn't deserve it. And yet, what Timothy said had been true. She had been taking advantage of it, perhaps even taking it for granted. She wouldn't allow it any longer though. She would no longer hide anything from those two, nor would she have anything to hide in the first place. | |

| "With Timothy's capture under your belt and a re-write of that article in the Daily Prophet coming up, you're going to at least get your job in the History of Magic department back." she cocked an eye-brow at Madison in bemusement then began to trudge down the hall with Timothy in tow. Alexandra had every intention to knock Timothy through the door that caused her quite a bit of annoyance. Paradoxes made real were extremely irritating.
Ouriel snuck out of her cloak without the wand in his beak and flew over to Madison, regaining his dog-like size. Her regarded her unblinkingly. Alexandra's memories and understanding coupled with his brief scanning of Timothy's mind made him rather more interested in the Head of Ravenclaw. In his months with Alexandra he had encountered many minds of living beings but Madison's was particularly intriguing. 'I have gone through Timothy's mind briefly... It seems Alexandra's confidence in you is more well-founded than you think Madison. But as a matter of curiosity, why the Order rather than the Death Eaters?' listening in to someone's thoughts was one thing, but having them explain sometimes revealed more than peering into their conscience ever would.

| Madison considered Ouriel's question for a moment before she could even try to answer. She smiled as she redirected her gaze, "I suppose when my grandfather died, and I started thinking for myself, I just didn't have any expectations to live up to. I know how much he would have hated me being in the Order, but... in all honesty, it was a dear friend of mine who turned me a step in the right direction." But for Madison to be able to fully answer such a general question, she would need more time, and far more energy. With a witty smile, Madison walked passed Ouriel and out the door after Alexandra. | |

| Ouriel was quite satisfied with her answer. In all honesty, she needn't have answered when it was only him with her. But thankfully, Madison had been courteous and done so. There was a loud smash and a muffled groan of pain at the doorway. Where there used to be a polished wooden door, lay a frame of splinters and scattered wooden planks. Timothy was immobile in the air by the time Ouriel followed Madison out the living room. It was at this point Alexandra remembered that broken doors were highly visible. "Err... Should I replace the door or something..?" her face turned sheepishly to Madison. Meanwhile, Ouriel began the flight back to the Leoine Residence. | |

| Madison smirked, "Allow me." She said as she took out her wand and did exactly that. "Ready?" | |

| "Ready when you are." she replied. Alexandra was far more relaxed now that the issue of Timothy was dealt with. Things would be quite a bit smoother from this point onward, especially since they were now much better at ferreting out fakes. | |

| "Let's go then." She said before disapparating. | |

| Right after Madison disapparated, Alexandra jerked Timothy towards her by the collar and bound him - just in case - with a wave of her wand. She remembered something. Letting go of him briefly, the raven-haired girl opened the door one last time. It took a bit of concentration, but a few seconds later, the living room was in perfect condition. He would disappear without a trace. The front door clicked shut behind her and she strode back towards him. Staring at him coldly then spoke, "Try to get away and you will be lucky if Madison gets to you first." Then she disapparated; she and Timothy disappeared with a quiet pop. Rather undramatic considering how much Timothy would have to face once they got back to the Order's Headquarters. | |
