Magic:Abilities:Having Giant-blood within him, Kal has incredible physical capabilities, able to perform things that no human can do without the assistance of magic. (Bend metal, break stone etc.)
Wand: 12 inch Ironwood, Ground Nundu Teeth twined with Nundu whisker. Built into prosthetic right arm.
Patronous: Nundu
Specialty:: Apparation, Conjuration, Jinxs (Ventus and Flipendo are the only ones he uses a lot), and Charms (Most notably Protego, Glacius and Flame-Freezing) are Kal's best forms of magic, which he uses in conjunction of each other to be an exceptional duelist. These forms of magic come natural to him and his skills in battle are quite notable, being able to use useful spells without a wand or verse.
Weakness::Potions and Herbology are Kal's worst forms of magic, barely passing during his time in Hogwarts. His next worst subject is Alchemy. He suspects because of the technical natures of these arts is why he does so poorly at them.
Characteristics:PERSONALITY: Kal is somewhat of a free spirit when it comes to his work and teachings, some would call him a slacker or a goof. He does take his work seriously however, wishing to teach the children how to use their magic properly and not hurt each other or themselves. He is rather flirtatious and would attempt to charm women if he had the chance to, no matter who they were.
LIKES: Kal enjoys magic as a whole, thinking of it as a defining thing in the universe, something that should be cherished and that should be used towards happiness. Kal also likes to take things hands on, teaching by demonstration and making sure people understand what he is trying to achieve.
DISLIKES: Studying is the bane of Kal's life, he dislikes it with a fiery passion and when he has the choice, he never assigns studying or homework, things should be learned and practiced, but hitting the books is something he doesn't recommend. Kal also dislikes the misuse of magic, making him a hater of Death Eaters and other dark wizards.
FEARS: Kal's worst fear is his acrophobia, his fear of heights hinders him from using a broom, to which he uses apparation to counteract his fear, allowing him to move quickly through the heights without having to suffer through them.
HISTORY:Kal was born to a wizard and giantess couple who treated him as kind and loving as any parent would to their child, despite Kal actually being smaller than most Half-Giants. Kal' parents always taught him to take care of his friends and family and to never use magic for bad reasons. When he was old enough, Kal enrolled in Hogwarts, where he came out being one of the best duelists in his year. It was not long before he was hired by the Ministry of Magic, who put his powers to use against Dark Wizards and Witches, hunting them down as an Auror. Kal was an exceptional Auror, being able to take out many of his enemies, until a horrendous event made for an early retirement.
During a hunt for a Death Eater, Kal's target unleashed a Nundu upon the area of the tracking, which resulted in Kal requiring to fight the XXXXX creature. The battle was a large game of cat and mouse, Kal unable to do anything but dodge and try and survive. The decisive blow occurred when Kal's arm was bitten off by the Nundu, but at the same point, Kal unleashed a fully charged FiendFyre Spell, which caused the Nundu to be incredible burned and tortured, until it crashed into a giant Ironwood tree and was crushed by the falling tree. Kal's arm and wand were both lost forever, but the Nundu was slain and the other Auror's managed to find the Death Eater responsible.
Kal's retirement from magic didn't last long, he decided that if he couldn't hunt as well as he used to, he might as well teach. He had a custom wand created that could fit into his prosthetic limb, which holds the remains of the Nundu that took his originals and made with the Ironwood from the tree that made the decisive blow. Now Kal has set sails towards Hogwarts to take position as Charms Teacher.
