Damon hides his horrific past behind the façade of a quiet intelligent schoolboy. He doesn't talk much, always preferring to stay behind books or stuck inside his dormitory, writing in his diary. People would see him as the boy who has flawless grades, the prodigy of Quidditch, the fearless duelist, yet they don't know that he is hiding a big secret...

No one ever knew why his parents disappeared. Some say dragonpox was the culprit, yet there was no record in St Mungo's.

The truth was that it was his fault. He was known under another name, (think of one) Corliss. His mother had disappeared, some suspecting that she was having child that wasn't his father's, for she had an affair...In exactly 2 years she returned, his father was skilled in Leglimency so was quick to find that she had cheated on him. In a fit of rage, his father turned on his mother but Damon was quick to protect his beloved mother, despite of her adultery. However he underestimated his own strength when it was powered by love, a simple spell had turned into one that made his father's heart stop. His mother, shocked at seeing her husband drop dead, was frightened by Damon. She disallowed him to touch her, speak to her. She ran back to the man who she was cheating with, to her other child.

He was left disgraced and jealous, that the child would grow up with a full family, with his mother...

With the advantage of being a metamorphmagus, he changed his appearance, changed his name, his identity and moved into the Orphanage.

Being in Ravenclaw, he is very intelligent and can deduct things very easily, so it is difficult to hide secrets round him.

He is very secretive, fluently lying about his past, yet other liars could probably tell that he was not telling the truth. He excels in lessons as he spends most time in the library, finding comfort at the restricted talking that occurs there...

He views love as harsh, that it can make people do the weirdest things. Even he has to admit that he had a few crushes when growing up and regretted them, (one of them being Medea[with his excellent skills in deduction, he knew that she meddled with Dark Magic so he stopped], and add any other people). He was brought up in an unstable marriage, so his views on relationships aren't really that positive.
