Characteristics:
PERSONALITY: Derek is rather selfish, he only cares about himself. However, he's also a terrible flirt and acts much nicer and more polite if he thinks he's in with a chance. Derek likes to be a leader, he's bossy and a control freak and fussy as well.

LIKES: Being in charge, having control, winning, girls.

DISLIKES: Muggles and mudbloods, being told what to do, not getting his way, studying.

FEARS: horses, although he'd never dream of admitting it.


HISTORY:
Derek grew up in a rich family, and as a child he always got what he wanted. His parents are high-ranking death eaters, and all his life he's known he will be one he grows up. As a child, he'd often delight in bullying his muggle neighbours using magic (though his neighbours didn't know it was magic and stuff). Derek recieved the letter to Hogwarts when he was eleven, which wasn't a surprise. In his first three years at Hogwarts, Derek quickly made lots of friends and had many fancies, but none of these girls ever lasted long. In his fourth year, Derek's parents told him they'd kick him out if he didn't become a death eater when he accidentally mentioned he'd like to be a quidditch player when he grew up. Since then, he's tried to be just like his parents. In his fifth year he wants to make himself known.
