Characteristics:PERSONALITY: An introverted person to the core, Aimee is more than often seen alone. She has the decency to be polite to others, but that was about all.
She has a manner of detached curiosity about her surroundings, but her thoughts are usually kept to herself. She doesn't bother hiding her beliefs of things just to appease others and seems to be more mature than the other adolescent teenagers, due to the death of her brother.
*Due to family connections, Aimee has learned several other languages than English like Korean, Mandarin, and Japanese.
LIKES: Aimee is completely obsessed to music, she probably can’t take more than 1 hour without listening to it (she even listens to it while sleeping). Aimee also likes reading and a few sports, including swimming, Quidditch, and a little bit of soccer and basketball. She enjoys eating spaghetti, ramen, caramel candies, and peanut butter chocolates.
DISLIKES: Aimee dislikes know-it-alls, for if they thought they knew it all, they didn't know everything, especially how to be modest.
She hates bad quality music and dislikes eating sour food.
FEARS: Aimee fears the death of another person close to her, meaning her family. She wouldn't be able to bear it if a friend died, so that was partially why she secluded herself.
HISTORY:In 2084 during a snowy day in Seoul, South Korea, Dae Sa-Hae was born to Song Min-Ah (Miriam) and Dae Jong Suk (John). Her name was later changed to Aimee after moving to the States.
Early Childhood
Aimee lived her life in Seoul care-free and lively. She was often seen playing with her older brother by two years, Jae-Sun (Jason), or being taught how to play instruments under the careful watch of her elders. Her elders believed in a wide knowledge of musical talent; having been unable to force it onto Jason, they turned towards Aimee, instead. She was taught to play the more modern instruments like the piano and guitar, while also learning traditional ones, like the gayageum.
At age eight, her family moved to the States: One of her parents many odd dreams were to try to live as Americans, be it two months or two years. They stayed with several second cousins or so, changing their surname to “Mitchelle.”
In 2094, Aimee’s mother gave birth to another child: Kenny Mitchelle. Aimee was constantly fawning over her little brother – partly to make her older brother jealous, but Aimee felt an overwhelming sense of responsibility to take care of him as a big sister. She had fallen in love with him at first sight.
Towards the end of 2094, the Mitchelles finally moved to Great Britain. Aimee’s parents had bought a house together during their post-graduate years, hoping that their children would be able to learn at Hogwarts, be it dangerous or not. Aimee stayed home for the next year and a half with her mom and little brother as Jason went to Hogwarts and their father worked as a Healer in St. Mungo’s.
Time at Hogwarts
In 2095, Aimee got accepted into Ravenclaw for her fast thinking. She tended to solve problems right on the spot, but that was also her flaw – she could be lazy and do things in a rush to go out and play. Other than that, she kept her grades fairly well and her nose clean out of trouble.
Third Year: Aimee’s brother had died in an accident while she was in school. Aimee had come back to her home shortly after hearing of the news – a mere two hours after the occurrence. Having sustained too many injuries, Kenny died in her arms by twilight. She was told that it had been a wildfire…
The truth:A Death Eater’s raid had befallen upon Aimee’s town – one of many, during the time. Aimee’s parents had both been at work, leaving Kenny in a daycare as the other two kids went to school. By the time the Aurors and healers had gotten to the scene, most of the houses were destroyed and all of the people in the daycare had died or were deeply injured.
Aimee came back to Hogwarts from the funeral in a blank state of shock. Seeming into be in her own world of depression, she divulged into the one thing that could soothe her wounds – music.
Fourth/Fifth Years: Most people would now avoid the Ravenclaw girl as she walked down the halls of Hogwarts, headphones in and a monotone expression on her face. She didn’t bother to talk to anyone, making it clear that the only things worth her times were 1: her studies, and 2: her music. She was never seen without a book/instrument/music player in hand.
Aimee took this time to reflect upon herself. Having felt the hopeless despair when realizing that she couldn’t help her brother as he died, she vowed to become a person who could influence or help the society and the people in danger. With this new inspiration in mind, she snapped out of her black and white world. She passed her O.W.Ls with flying colors in Charms
(Outstanding), Defense Against the Dark Arts
(Outstanding), and Potions
(Exceeds Expectations). As for her weakest subject, History of Magic, she received an “Acceptable”.
