Lamia strolled through, her white dress was drenched in blood as it clung to her, she still smelt of child's blood. She knew full well that her smell would lure the creatures out from the depths of the maze, yet she had no reason to be uneasy. This was her normal routine.
Crunch
She peered down, only to see the House-elf's tiny bones, picked clean. She had never sent her elves out here for punishment, she preferred to be the cause for their life to slowly ebb away.
However something in the back of her head knew that she was the one who did it...but when?
She heard rustling. Her reflexes were quick as she spun round drawing her wand, the blade burrowed into the creature's chest.
Bullseye
However it was still alive, it was strangely feline, it swatted its sharp claws, catching the flesh on Lamia's cheek. She hissed, keeping her cool, she muttered a spell. Tergeo.
The creature's eyes widened as the blood was being drained from its body, it raised it's claw again, but it was losing blood fast.
Within seconds, it was just a dry carcass, an empty shell.
Lamia pulled her wand out and carried on walking through her maze.
