Dining Room/Kitchen

Michelle walked into the kitchen. She opened the refrigerator and eyed it critically before taking out her wand. She waved her wand twice and food and utensils started to hover in the air, before flying around. She nodded, satisfied, as the cooking started and then sat down at the table. A cup of coffee appeared in front of her, and she took it, taking a sip.

(*jaw drops* this. is. SO. becoming my kitchen one day^^)

(xD Ikr? It's awesome.)

(.... *stares in silence and wonder*)

As Michelle finished her coffee, she glanced up to see the plates and bowls of food settling down on the table. Sighing, she raised her wand to her throat....
"DIINNNEEERRR'SSSS SEEEERRRVVVEEEEDDDD!" The voice went echoing through the house.

Walking into the kitchen, Lacetta thanked Professor Christensen for the food.

"Thank you so much, again. It's greatly appreciated Professor Christensen!"

(I'm sorry but I have to be going now, goodbye/goodnight! ^_^)

(Alright, night!)
Michelle nodded as two plates of pasta, one for each student, slid onto the table.
"No problem."

A letter appeared in a flare of fire on the table next to Michelle.

- To the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher -
The headmistress of Hogwarts just employed me to work at Hogwarts. Why is the news that the school is closed?

Michelle jumped at the letter. She scanned it warily, before relaxing slightly. She pulled out a pen and wrote under it,

'Attack on Hogwarts. I'll meet up with you to tell more details. Where are you?'

Another letter appeared.

At the Leaky Cauldron. My place got trashed a while ago so I'm staying there for now.

Michelle stood up, stretching slightly. She grabbed her bag and walked out.

Michelle walked into the dining room and sat down as a cup of coffee hovered over to her. She too a sip, thinking.
She trusted the students to come back whenever they were hungry. If they stayed past curfew... Well, that would be bad.

Michelle yawned widely and flicked her wand. At midnight, the alarms would immediately turn on. She stood up, stretching, and walked out.

Michelle walked into the room, dropping her knapsack onto the floor as she blinked in surprise; her mother and sister sat at the table, chattering away happily. As they noticed her walk in, Kaitlyn jumped up.

"Mitchiieeeee~" Kaitlyn squee-ed, locking the bemused professor into a death-hug. "How have you been?!?"
"Now now, girl, let her breathe," her mother said, chuckling. She smiled at Michelle warmly. "Hello, Michelle."
Michelle nodded dumbly for a second as she pried Kaitlyn off of her.
"Oh. Hi... Er, did I give you the keys to the house last time?"

Kaitlyn frowned. It wasn't normal for her sister to forget things. Heck, she even tortured Kaitlyn for three months because she had played a rather explicit joke on the older sister.
"You alright? Not sick or anything, right?" Kaitlyn felt her sister's temperature, comparing it to her own. Nope. Zip-o strange-o things...-o.
Michelle swatted her arm away, huffing.
"Of course. I was quizzing you..."
Anne smiled at the sight of her two daughters quibbling. She gave a small cough.
"So, are we allowed to accompany you this vacation?" she asked Michelle.
Michelle nodded quickly.
"Of course. You two are welcome any time, Mother..."
"Unless you hook up with a guy," Kaitlyn added in, snickering.
Michelle elbowed her.

"Well, if that's the case, then..." Anne picked up her things, waving away Michelle's offer to help. "I'll see myself to my room. It's been a long day. With that, she exited the kitchen.
Kaitlyn sniffed, picking up her bags, also.
"You better not have touched my stuff," she warned Michelle before following her mom suit.
Michelle stared after the two and sighed, grinning.
"I felt like a hurricane just came by..."
